Dr James is awesome! He really knows how to make you feel relaxed when you are in there with your children. I have only taken my son to a few appointments (he is only 3 months old) but he never acts like any of my concerns are crazy. He responds in layman's terms (which is nice) and reassures me that there is nothing seriously wrong. I have also had the pleasure of seeing his partner, Dr. Hamilton, when my son was first born (he was on call) and he is also amazing. These two doctors along with the great staff make for one awesome office! I would recommend him to anyone

After moving into oak ridge I saw him on 2 different occasions for my 3 kids. I found him to completely unhelpful and quite rude. He didn't take the time to listen to my concerns and was very dismissive of huge behavior problems. I would not recommend Dr. James to anyone.

I had taken my first child to another doctor for his first year of life and NEVER actually saw the DOCTOR! So I had heard of Dr James and decided to try him out! WOW! I was IMPRESSED! Not only do we see Dr James EVERY TIME but he is patient, caring, fun w/ the kids, gentle and VERY knowledgable! He also doesnt make parents panic (even when things ARE serious!) He's always very assuring! My two kids like him a LOT. We have been seeing him now for about 4 yrs and ALWAYS had a 5 star experiance!!!

He is the best pediatric physician in this area. He cares about the patient and is always available to answer questions. I have never seen a physician so down to earth and so willing to help. I wish my own doctor was as good as he is. I can not stress enough how wonderful he is.
