I had thought Dr Chatterjee was progressive and open minded which is why I went out of my normal health system to see him. He used to be different. He is very dismissive these days and like so many other patients he has seen in recent times he simply denied any possibility of disease simply because of negative bloodwork. Seronegative cases exist. So disappointed in him. I believe he is great to those who have bloodwork to prove they are ill. To those who are looking for serious help and answers - go to someone else. I beg you.

Went there after referral from neurology...he was late which may not be his fault, but came in I started stating my issues he told me to stop and I would give him a headache. Only asked me what he wanted to know, took a bunch of blood which came back ok. Sent me a letter saying do therapy and and doesn't know what else to say, maybe fibromyalgia. So I am still in pain and no care or follow up. Many conditions don't show in blood, he just dismissed me because the blood work was ok. Felt rushed and no help, still miserable

I am 21 years old. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 18. Like many other people with rheumatoid arthritis (studies show 1/3) I did not have positive blood results for it. But that does not mean that I do not have it. My wonderful Rheumetoligist I had before regretfully moved to Arizona, so I had to find a new one. I went with high hopes to see Dr. Chatterjee. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a doctor. First off he thought I was a different patient than I was, because he grabbed the wrong chart. Second off he did not listen. I have been in horrible health for the past year, and was struggling with debilitating fatigue. Instead of focusing on how my RA could have caused that, he went through and had 16 vials of blood taken to look at other causes. In that visit I made two things clear. 1) I was not currently on any medicine since my doctor had moved, and 2) my blood has never tested positive for RA indicators. So after all these tests, he sends me a letter. He doesn't even call. Basically he tells me that I should continue that meds that my current doctor had me on (I wasn't on any, so I couldn't do that) and he tells me that he doesn't think I have RA because I don't have the blood results. No treatment option was giving me. I am not sure if he just did not believe me because of my age, or what, but it was by far the WORST experience I have ever had. Being so sick at such a young age is hard enough, having the doctor not believe you, (even tho I'd been diagnosed by several other doctors, one of which was a Cleveland clinic doctor) is much worse.

He is very personable, seemed concerned about finding out what was wrong, and spent a tremendous amount of time with me. He was very thorough also. He also performed an ultrasound of my shoulder and spent at least 45 minutes doing it himself! He then sent me a very detailed report of his findings and recommendations. Great doctor.

One of the most thorough visits I have ever had but not uncomfortable. Puts you at ease and really does listen to you. I like him very much and intend to keep this one. After over a year of trying to figure out what is going on I think I may have someone who can really help me. I thought everyone at Cleveland clinic we ran into even from the parking attendandts to lab/xray staff and office staff were just wonderful and nice. Would recommend to anyone.

I have nothing BUT great things to say about Dr.Chatterjee. When I was first diagnosed with RA @2006 I had another doctor who has since retired. I was at my witts end. Always in pain..just miserable! Someone suggested Dr. Chatterjee and I thank God that they did. He has been heaven sent. He takes his time, he's explains the disease, the treatments, etc.in laymans terms. When I leave from my visit I feel confident and knowledgable about my RA. The staff is wonderful. Always pleasant and friendly. Katie is the best also... He has a crazy sense of humor which is always welcomed. I have learned that I can deal with this disease and still laugh at life! Thank you Dr. Chatterjee!

Best Doctor I ever had. He listens, he thorough, he remembers everything about you and knows your condition/symptoms, knows how to give injections, I love him, he jokes a lot but thats to break the ice because most of his patients suffer so much and he just tries to cheer you up. Can't say enough good about him

Dr. Chatterjee was the first doctor that I have seen in the past 10 years that would listen to me. He is very thorough in visit. He recommended that I see a few other specialists and he is going to put all the pieces together. I suggest not listening to the negative remarks in regards to him.
