Dr maher has delivered my second son naturally and my twins by csection. He is a great doctor, I would recommend him to everyone, I had bad experience with my first child so I can compare and see the difference. I had a very quick recovery with my second child and also a very quick recovery after the csection. My scar is very small and barely noticeable after a year. His nurse Wendy is also awsome, she is friendly and always in a good mood, I got to see her very often when I was pregnant with twins. I would highly recommend this doc and this office

We gave birth to our second daughter, and we are so thankful we switched to seeing him at Sutter. He is by far the best obgyn doctor I have ever had. My family hopes he will be our doctor for every baby we have from now on. He was very good with our 5 year old daughter every time she came into my appointments. She looked forward to seeing him.

I am very dissatisfied with the process of this office, as well as Dr.Mahers care. I was seen for an issue I had in the ER and followed up with him three weeks later, YES that's how long it took for him to see me (although I was in tons of pain and out of medicine) he spent maybe 5 minutes re-iterating what the ER had already told me, he did not spend much time or show much care with my concerns. Since then I have attempted to make a couple of appt's for pain and he never has openings (not even with in that same week) the typical wait time is 2-3 weeks. He has even told me to go to a different provider if my pain in that bad because he cannot see me (his office staff has verbalized that to me) I would NEVER recommend him, he is horrible at caring for his patients needs. I have now turned to a different provider since he was not able to help me ever. Very dissatisfied!

I saw Dr Maher for the first time for an IUD problem that I was very concerned about. He gave me all the info, possibilities and options before he performed his procedure. It was fast and easy and he was very nice and calm through it all. He was very friendly and calmed my nerves instantly. I'll definitely keep him as my Gyn!! Oh and the staff from check in to back office were very friendly, prompt, polite and informative!

I've been with Dr Maher for about 8 years now. He delivered my 2nd son for me and I had no issues whatsoever. Because my first son was a big one, he was very concerned about watching for gestational diabetes as he had thought maybe it wasn't caught with my 1st. Knowing how he brought up possible issues without me needing to ask him, definitely made me feel like he had my best interests at heart. I've had absolutely no issues with him. He's very knowledgeable and is straightforward and just tells you like it is which is refreshing.

Delivered both of my boys. My wife and I were both very happy with Dr. Maher. Would recommend him to anyone and everyone. Very down to earth, takes his time, and tells it like it is. Only complaint would be his choice of medical school. UCLA :( Haha.

One of the best OB/GYN's I have come across. We used him with our first baby and we are now going back for our second. His humor is what you might expect from a Doctor but he is very knowledgable. I think that he really cares about his patients, which is very important. I definately recommend him.

Great doctor!!! I did not have any issues with him. He would take as much time as I needed and would answer all of my questions, however silly some of them were. He was very patient and caring!

The worst MD I have ever met in my life. Rude, arrogant, doesn't care about his patients, talks down to you, but really, it's enough: he has too many flaws to mention. We've been looking for a contraception options for my daughter for over 5 months with no avail. She is pregnant now, and this office wouldn't even make an effort to help with a referral for an abortion! Office staff needs some serious training in every possible aspect of patient interactions. This MD needs to reconsider what he is doing and how he is affecting young women in a fragile situations and difficult times of their lives. I hope he gets to be treated the same way when he is in need, may be that will ring the bell. The fact remains: we were looking for contraception, following his instructions, but there was no help from dr. Maher.
