On my first visit I explained that I did not want to be treated with a regimen of pills. On my second visit he prescribed Vitamin D (a pill). On my second visit he cut the dose in half and he prescribed a blood thinner (a pill). On my third visit, I explained that I wanted an alternative to the pills. When he could not provide me with an alternative. I presented him with a newspaper article that told of people throwing away their blood pressure medications and he refused to read the article. I fired him. I then made an appointment with his associate in a different location and he felt he could work with me. It seems that Dr. Batts has blackballed me, because I received a call from his office, not my new doctor and been asked to go away! It appears to me they are closely tied to a pharmaceutical company and can only practice medicine with a prescription pad.
