Very good experience! Staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. Dr. Mackey took her time and listened to all my concerns. Will be bringing my whole family in! Very clean too!!

I have been going to Dr. Mackey for many years and have been happy, until this year. Sandy is a great person. But except for picking up my reading glasses when they are ready. This will be my last visit. I feel like I am banging my head against the wall with her staff. I have tried and tried, but I seem to be getting nowhere. I tried progressives and paid for the lens. I kept saying, I can't use them, they are the wrong prescription, they don't work since my vision fluctuates with RK, got at first, you got to get used to them. You cannot get USED to the wrong prescription with it is only right for maybe ten minutes. The frame that I bought two years ago broke at the temple, so wound up paying for a new frame. Then I just said,since I got tired of looking at glasses I can't use and replace the expensive progressive lenses that I paid over $300 with reading lenses, and asked about the money, got will make them into what you want, but no refunds and I have to pay for the frame for the broken one. I keep saying my vision fluctuates, so got a prescription for eye drops that took a week to clear the insurance. I said dry eye is not the problem, it is the RK, but tried. After two days, hated the side effects, the bad taste, runny nose, the burning of my eyes. So, won't be using that either as it is still not the answer. I would have been happy with just not paying for the new frame, but on top of the $368 for progressive lenses that I made into straight reading glasses that I can buy for 9.99 at Walgreens, I'm down $79 for the frames as well. Fed up and not going back. The staff will not listen and tired of spending money for nothing.

She is the most caring eye doctor. Her staff is very caring also.

I've had a problem with "ghosting" in my vision and Dr. Mackey was able to compensate for that as no other optometrist I've seen prior to her.

I have been a patient of Dr Mackeys for a long time, simply because she is an expert at what she does, and I have never had a bad experience there. I am always amazed at how good I can see when I get new contacts from her office. And, she is very nice and personable.

This optometrist referred me to an opthalmologist. I had no idea she wasn't an opthalmologist until I got to the office and had to pay a copay. I chose her for her location but ended up having to go back to my opthalmologist across town. He said while she isn't a medical physician (optometrists apparently do not go to medical school like an opthalmologist or complete a residensy in order to even practice)she should have been able to help me with my medical issue. This optometrist was nice but gave me the wrong prescription. I finally went to Lencrafters and got the correct prescription and love my new lenses.
