I saw Dr. Chang in 2004 with good results. Again in 2016 with terrible results. I spent more time using/paying for x-rays for a tendon injury than I did with him, maybe 2 minutes. Prescription for an ankle brace that I got 4 months later, walking the whole time. I'm now facing surgery and 4 months on my back. STAY AWAY. If he's having a good day, so will you, not a good day, disaster and malpractice!!

I had surgery on my foot about 3.5 years ago and it has only given me problems. His modern techniques are good in theory, but theory only gets so far when you're dealing with the human body. I feel cheated and used. This surgery was one of the worst things to ever happen to me.

Dr. Chang is the best. I would recommend him to anyone who has feet/ and or foot issues. He is a great guy, great sense of humor, office staff works well with scheduling surgery and appointments. HE IS THE GUY IN SANTA ROSA. Look no further than Dr. Chang. He is easy on the eye, and all the nurses love working with him.

Chang is a personable and talented surgeon, but to correct the guy with the "genius" comment, if you pick up his book, you will see it is an anthology. What you give up in terms of 'busy' and 'wait' is dwarfed by what you get in return. I also found Dr. Chang agreeable when I had a question or concern about the course of my treatment. He obliged no problem when he understood my problem.

As a doctor he is good. But the way they hurry you into the office and wait and wait and wait some more sucks. Don't expect much from the staff. The front office staff last time I was in there was joking about looking up personal info on patients using a new program they were getting. Like it was fun to poke into peoples lives.

Well... this guy seems like a genius. Wrote an entire book on foot / ankle surgery, so he is really knows his stuff... I am about to have foot surgery soon, I can only hope it goes well. He has this huge, nice + clean podiatry clinic in Santa Rosa, where he is VERY busy. One complaint I had is that his office was horrible at scheduling me in, I guess they were so overbooked because he is so popular. I just needed a consultation for foot surgery since my feet overpronate and were hurting so bad that I was in a wheel chair. I had to wait THREE WEEKS, in agony for an appointment. When I finally saw him, I had so many questions but he was so rushed that he was constantly trying to end the conversation. I guess I can't put that against him as a surgeon, he is still really knowledgeable but very popular and doesn't have much time to answer all of your questions.
