I was a new patient, and pregnant needing a 5th cesarean. His staff was so welcoming. Dr. Plimpton made me feel very comfortable each and every time I came for visit. He took the time to explain each detail on my ultrasounds, and answered all my questions without rushing me, or cutting our visit short. My cesarean went better than any if the previous surgeries. I would more than highly recommend him to anyone I know.

He is very professional, nswered all my questions. I was always able to make an appointment quickly without a problem. He would take care of any issue even over the phone. I felt like I was in very good hands.

He delivered my first. Throughout my pregnancy he was fine, nice enough I loved the women in the front. I was overdue about a week and he had me induced because he was going on a vacation. (First bad sign) my first baby so I listened. I went in at SAM dilated at about 4cm, got the meds going. Around 12pm he broke my water and I dilated 5cm they upped my pitocin and my contractions came in so strong that I stayed at a constant for hours no dilation and be refused to give me an epidural. I ended up having to fuss my nirse about it until she gave in and as soon as the epidural was given I dilated to 8cm this was around 5PM. By 6 PM I was 10 cm and plimpton was NO WHERE to be found so they had me wait. 7PM...8PM...nothing. My nurse sets me up to practice pushing and breathing since my babies heart rate was going up and here he walks in with the biggest attitude about my epidural and how women don't need it blah blah blah. He was litetally YELLING at me. At one point he got frustrates he yelled push HARDER. And I yelled back I KNOW. So I stepped back literally said "oh? If you know then do it on your own." At that point my nurse stepped in put my oxygen on and tried to get me to keep pushing while that jerk stared at me. My daughter was delivered and he just walked out. Horrible arrogant doctor.

I would agree some stuff members are rude. But i don't mind them because they are not checking how my pregnancy is going but Dr.Plimpton, as that being said I had a miscarriage(happened with an arrowhead DR never attended back to then after) after Plimpton being notified of it he wouldn't let me out the door without having all my concern being answered. & he made me trust him since I'm hard to trust anyone. With 3rd pregnancy it was the samee. Hospital nd his office he would make sure everything was going great. And i thanked him so much because he made me not to feel afraid to get pregnant again after losing two souls on my 1st pregnancy.

One of his staff members were rude to me during a phone call to make an
appointment when I was 7 months pregnant, after that his bedside manner
dropped tremendously. When I went into labor with my son he came into the
room right about the time I was ready to push. I had been in labor for 24
hours at that point and that was the first time he came in the room at all.
He came in and did not tell my husband who was sitting in a chair across the
room anything, he just started by telling me he wanted me to start pushing.
My husband realized what was happening and ran over to me but with no heads
up from Dr. Plimpton saying "oh hey I'm going to have your wife start
pushing". Dr. Plimpton delivered my son and walked out. I never saw him
again after that. I can't even begin to explain my disappointment in how the
delivery went, it was supposed to be a joyous moment which was overshadowed
by a doctor who did not know how to treat his patient. I am currently
pregnant again and I would never use this doctor again.

Dr. Plimpton is a crook he bills the insurance companies for 2 official ultrasounds and there is no official us report. When records are sent to the hospital they have no report that tells them anything not even where your placenta is which is pretty important. If you didn't document it you didn't do it so I wish the insurance companies would catch on.......

He was great throughout my entire pregnancy. But when it came to labor he made me wait 6 hours to start pushing baby was crowning by then!!!!! He was a no-show and wouldn't let the nurses have me push! I hated him. He simply walked out after delivery..he was there for merely 10 minutes. IF THAT! Hate him. Never again.
