Family Medical Center in Bolingbrook is great. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Dr. Carlino, is the only Doctor in the office since he no longer has a partner to assist him. The wait at times are long but I rather wait and know that he will dedicate his time while I am in his office. He is caring, compassionate and he listens to you and hears what you are saying. I have been his patient since he open this practice.

Dr. Carlino and his associate Dr. Bergman have both been very nice and helpful. I have seen each Doctor approximately 3-5 times. The office is very small and very busy. I have waited for almost 2 hours in the office. If I thought the wait times were better elsewhere and it wasn't such a pain to change doctors I might consider changing. Overall, I like both of these guys.

I've been seeing Dr. Carlino for years. He now has limited hours. It is very difficult to get an appt with him and it is such a shame. His new associate is an older man who rambles a lot and doesn't seem to give clear information. You cannot find a more caring physician, though, than Dr. Carlino. If you can wait to see him instead of the associate, I HIGHLY recommend him. The wait time can be a bit long with Dr. Carlino, but that is a direct result of him actually listening to his patients. The wait time with the associate seems to be a direct result of his ineffective communication (I believe he has had a stroke that affects his speech). As a side note, I object to people giving Dr. Carlino lower ratings because of problems with the associate.

In my opinion, Dr. Carlino is the best doctor in this area. He takes time with you, he is always polite and caring. I will never leave his care. His staff has always been very wonderful to work with. I appreciate this group very much. He is worth any wait.

Very nice doctor! However, the staff is rude, and makes you feel as if you are bothering them. No help at all when it comes to billing and the receptionist is not at all nice.

The staff is not friendly or helpful, but my biggest complaint is wait time, and lack of clear diagnosis. Last time I was sick I waited an hour past my appointment time, and an hour in my appointment while the doctor rambled on and on (not Dr. Carlino- but his new associate, Dr. Carlino is almost impossible to get an appointment with). You go into the doctor's office because you aren't feeling well, and you end up sitting in a office for 2+ hours! It is absolutely miserable. I end up returning for the same issues over and over. Waste of time and money in my opinion. Dr. Carlino is a very nice man, but hard to get an appt with, and his staff is hard to deal with.
