Dr. Bucknam is by far the very best pediatrician my children have ever had. They have been seeing him the past 2 years and are both in elementary school. He has hugs and high fives for them when he walks in the room and then asks them how school is going. Then asks THEM how they are doing/feeling. He then turns to me to see if I have anything to add. He's gentle, reassuring, caring and never ever judgmental. I would always recommend him to parents.

Dr. Bucknam has been the very best pediatrician my children have ever had. I love that he walks into the exam room and talks to my sons, not to me. He shakes their hand, gives them a hug, asks them how they are doing, how school is going, etc. When he's assessing them he tells them what he's going to do, asks them how they are feeling. He very much treats them as the patient. Of course he speaks with the parent after he is through, but he makes the patient the most important person in the room. He also does not criticize our family's decision for having delayed vaccinations. I find that a respectable and rare quality in doctor's nowadays.

Dr Bucknam is very knowledgable and helpful. He spends time with the patients and parents. He is comforting to the children.
