I don’t understand the other rating. Dr. Goodman treated me for years, until he moved out of state. I was hospitalized once and the hospital Drs misdiagnosed me. Dr Goodman came in and had test done that saved my life. He helped me get a medication that I could not afford for free. It worked and I felt better while using it. He was caring, very professional and very knowledgeable. I have even thought about going out of state to visit him. I have not found an RA Doctor in my state that was as good as him.

Leslie Goodman checked my knee for inflammation and excessive water. He sent a sample to LabCorp Tampa that came back as Staph infection. (false-positive) He ignored the fact that I was not running a fever and my knee would have been super hot to touch - neither condition existed. He checked me into a local hospital and they tested my knee to find out that it was negative test for Staph infection. I spent the entire weekend in the hospital being pumped full of antibiotics only to check the following week with another LabCorp test to find that I did NOT have staph infection!

I went to Dr. G for 5 years. Due to my illness, Dr. G said he would fill out the required paperwork for disability. I missed a couple of appointments because of job responsibilities and retirement party. When I called to make an appointment for a checkup and to ask him to fill out my disability paper because I retired. Dr. G had all my documentation for the past 5 years and had knowledge about how stressful my job was. This has hurt me considerably for filing disability. I think Dr. G was very unprofessional regarding my situation.

Doctor subscribed MOBIC anti-inflammatory medicine that caused severe complications with my present medicine and put me into the hospital. Also, he gave a false indication that I had a staph infection that was not the case. That also put me into the hospital for three days - unnecessarily!
