I did not give Dr. Laenger all 10's........ She earned very single one of them.

*Compassion: Dr. Laenger puts herself in "my shoes". She tries to understand the medical and the mental obstacles I am facing.

*Understanding: Dr. Laenger is a physician and a student , she listens, she asks questions and then she applies her knowledge and expertise.

*Empathy: You can't teach this...I know Dr.Laenger truly cares. That care and and professionalism is emulated by her staff. (especially Billie)

*Honesty: Unquestioned honesty.

*Commitment: After 20 years ...I am sure she is just as eager to help as her patients as she was as a first year resident.

*Competence: Dr. Laenger went to St. Louis University School of Medicine a top school for Primary Care. She has their commitment to self-directed lifelong learning. She will research something on the spot during an appointment and she will mention things she has researched that apply to my situation.

*Humanity: I can tell she loves her profession. She knows she is having a positive impact on my life.

*Courage: She will listen intently but she is not afraid to tell me (nicely) that I am wrong.

*Respect: She has never been pompous or talked down to me. We have a mutual respect for each other. We are a team in our own little ( 2 years at this point) Clinical Trial. We have written goals and plans to achieve those those goals. When we have an appointment we go over those goals and tweak them if necessary. Graphically our goal chart slopes upward to the right :)

Dr. Laenger is the best Doctor I have ever seen. Been going to her for years, way before she had her children, now one is in college the other high school. She figured out some heart issues and fluid build up my husband was having, his heart Doctor was very impressed with her findings. She gives 110% to her patients and let's you know she cares and is there to help you through any health issues. Love this Doctor.

Dr. Laenger is an excellent doctor. she takes the time to listen to the patient and to explain to the patient what is happening to them. I'm 74 years old and she is the best doctor I've ever had.

I have a supplement through Mutual Omaha thru 12/2012. I am changing to AARP 1/1/2013. Up to now I have not paid anything to the doctor but I make a monthly payment for my supplement.

Dr. Laenger was referred to me by my best friend. My husband and I both go to Dr. Laenger now and she is the best doc we have been to in YEARS. She listens!! And takes notes! When my children are old enough, I trust her to be all three of my kids primary care doctor. We have been seeing her for 2 years now and she has never disappointed me or my husband.

I have seen Dr. Laenger about three times, first for an annual exams and then two specific issues. Every time and in all regards she has been been punctual and fully engaged on my case.
