He is one incredible surgeon whether for a hernia surgery or for one that is incredibly complicated. His knowledge, surgical skill, communication style, compassion for his patients is a 10 out of 10. Perhaps the most amazing fact is that he remains humble in spite of the fact that he is held in extremely high regard by the physicians who know him. I would never hesitate to refer a family member or friend to him.

Dr. Lourie is the best. I interviewed others but went with Dr. Lourie. Employee, Monique, was always on top of things. Met Dr. Lourie in July 2011; surgery was October 2011. I am so happy. Just a few months post op, not a single problem. Weight loss fantastic. It's hard work, but worth it. Enjoy your adventure.

Paid 606.00 and was told I wasnt fat enough to have lap band. Waste of money and time. Staff was no help.
