Dr. Thirlby saved my boyfriend's life. Jeff was diagnosed w/Stage IIIc colorectal adenocarcinoma. Dr. Thirlby removed the cancer and developed a J pouch to prevent Jeff from having a colostomy bag. Jeff is 41 yrs old, is cancer-free and has a life ahead of him. Dr. Thirlby made it his priority to give Jeff quality of life, and we will be forever grateful

He failed to use barrier film to prevent adhesions on my wife who is highly susceptible to developing adhesions. The mass of adhesions could become what is known as desmoid tumors. He performed several surgeries on my wife. I liked Thirlby and would probably use him again and again. Nobody is perfect. Do your own home work with any doctor. I did mine to late.

Dr Thirlby performed surgery, he was great could not find better. Lower obdominal surgery, he is very professional gets things done.

Dr. Thirlby is the best! He preformed gastric bupass surgery on me in 2003 (I lost 110 lbs!), then did a hernia repair on me in 2005. He is very knowlegable, and helpful, and funny too! He is my surgeon of choice for everything and anything, even though I have to drive 3 hrs to get to him! He's worth it!

Dr Thirlby is very knowledgable and friendly. He explains everything about the surgery that you will be having. He gives you time to ask questions and addresses any concerns. He makes sure you understand the risks and benefits of the surgery. He's a 10!
