Completely unhelpful staff. No one listened about or bothered to google my existing condition, so they ignored it when it was relevant to the current serious issue. They wanted to do an unnecessary & expensive procedure that wasn't justified- apparently to milk my insurance without providing any real help about anything the appointment was for. A staff member also made an offensive/unprofessional comment when we voiced concerns. Went someplace else because this was a complete waste of time.

Dr. Kaufman is an excellent Doctor. He diagnosed my issue in under 5 minutes as well. After being in pain for over a year with three rounds of PT and others having difficulty diagnosing my headaches I was so relieved to finally find some relief. It was so hard to have to live in pain and becoming depressed. He helped me so much and explained what was going on in a way no one else could. I am so thankful.

Dr Kaufman saw me within a week of my primary care dr's recommendation. I found him to be very business-like, knowledgable and " to the point". He performed some tests, talked to me and asked questions, then explained what my problem was and how to cope with my situation. Am forever grateful as he put my mind to rest and treated me respect and concern.

I found him indifferent. I think it was because I was poor. Really couldn't tell if he was knowledgeable or not because he seemed in a hurry.

Dr. Kaufman in the past has been a outstanding provider who went out of his way to assist me with my healthcare issues. But for the last few years, the clinic seems to have gone through some changes. The staff is just plain rude, and I find my access to this provider challenging. I had one of my medications stopped abruptly and without explanation. When I questioned this to the nursing staff, I was yelled at by two of his staff. I am astounded by this, and feel so discouraged as to the quality of care that I will get from him in the future. I do not get a future appointment unless I call and request one, and then am put off for months, when I have been a patient for over 20 years. I have been searching for a new provider. I am very upset with what has happened to Dr. Kaufman's practice. I trusted him, and now I don't.

I was unhappy with my current neurologist and called Dr Kaufman's office to switch. After having all of my records faxed over for Dr K to review, I was called and told he did not wish to take me as a patient. When I asked why, the nurse said he didn't give a reason except that he thought I should stay with my present Dr. I don't believe that is his decision and the reason I wanted to see him was that I wasn't happy with my present Dr. I told the nurse it was very dissappointing and she said she was sorry but there was nothing she could do. Not very professional if you ask me and leaves the patient wondering why.

After going to a terrible neurologist that left me feeling very like I wasn't important enough to care for. I was then referred to Dr. Kaufman and was able to sneak in fairly quickly due to a cancellation. He was EXCELLENT! He asked questions, talked to me and explained everything as well as ordered more tests. We haven't reached a diagnosis yet but at least he told me what it wasn't! Which is more than I can say for the last 5 doctors I have seen. He was very caring and I am confident my experiences at his office will stay positive. 5 stars for Dr. Kaufman!

Dr kaufman does not listen or even ask if I have concerns or questions. His appointments have become extremely rushed, he makes me feel bad, incompetent, disobedient, and frustrated. I cant get him to answer MY questions. AND DONT question his information or tell him you saw another doctor! He's become rude, gives very little eye contact, writes the script within minutes of seeing me- while I was still explaining my scripts specific needs, and therefore the script was wrong. Never offers to call in or fax my script even though I have been using mail order pharmacy and this doctor for years and my chart would have the info needed. I dont know... maybe if he likes you or feels like being generous that day should he earn the great ratings posted. No follow up mentioned by him. I had confidence in his care at one time, but I need a doctor who will not make me feel like jumping off a bridge when I leave from such a short appointment!!!

Dr Kaufman is amazing! After going completely blind due to another doctors error and then a 7 day hospital stay where staff ignored my persistent claim that I was blind, Dr Kaufman diagnosed me in under 5 minutes. He has gone out of his way to give me the best care. He is extremely knowledgeable and kind. He gave me my sight back and I will highly recommend him to anyone who needs a neurologist.

Was not impressed by Dr.Kaufman. Found him to be cold (couldn't even take the time to introduce himself), rude (made snide comments when questioned) and impatient. Maybe he was having a really bad day, but would request another doctor if another appointment was needed.
