Wasted 3 years with Dr Wheatley. He was very good at my first consultation. After that everything went downhill. He ordered an MRI which I had done. After a year I have still not been consulted about the results. Everyone he called there was an excuse as to why the doctor hadn’t got back to me. Reception was very argumentative and constantly told me I was wrong and she new best (yes, the receptionist. Pretty sure she didn’t go to medical school. Finally after three years doctor refused to see me because I was from out of province. My province doesn’t have a doctor to treat my health issue. So I waited and suffered with a severe medical condition for 3 years waiting for this man to just deny me access to treatment. I am pretty sure the Dr. Wheatley didn’t know how to treat my health condition and just never wanted to admit it. Horrible experience.

Dr Wheatley performed brain surgery to remove a brain tumour at the beginning of 2021. Communicating with the staff and getting my questions and concerns answered was as easy as it could be given the current pandemic. Although the prognosis for the tumour were not in my favour he did a great job removing the tumour and allowing me to still have excellent function of my limbs. He is a talented neurosurgeon, and very personable. I would recommend him to anyone. -Mark D

This man is so kind. He was helpful in getting me in to the hospital. In 2010 I had a menningeoma
Brain tumor it was found then I went to see him and then I went to surgery within a month. Dr Wheatley is the best!

Changed my life! Brain surgery 11 years ago. Had un-controlled tonic colonic seizures. I was out of choices. Had been to the maximum dose of every medication in every combination possible. Dr's here at home were hopeful to al least have me come out with less amounts or less severe seizures..... but, I've been seizure free. Thank you!

Excellent and down to earth in so manny ways. Example he likes to be called Matt. It puts you definitely at ease. I had a pretty serious tumor that he removed and it made me feel way better in my life.

All he saw was a colour or another number. After trusting him with my body, i woke up in pain, got sent home just 4 hours after surgery. Then have been disregarded ever since.
Not my problem were his exacr words.
