Staff communication and booking/massaging system leaves something to be desired, but they're nice. Dr. Melograna himself is a gem; compassionate, very knowledgeable, doesn't rush you, listens and gives you all the options. Always smiling, kind, and caring. Old-fashioned manners, but latest knowledge on urology and modern techniques, including prostate, ED, kidney, cancer, general urology.

I am going through every review site I can find to post a positive message about this doctor. He is absolutely amazing, as is his staff. I have never had such a positive experience working with a healthcare provider, and in such a delicate field of medicine, especially for men, he is an absolute gem. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Can't say enough good things about this doctor. Totally makes you feel at ease about pending surgery or tests. Can't say enough good things about him. Had total confidence in him. I have recommended him to so many of my friends and family members.

This doctor by far had the best bedside manner of any we've ever worked with! And we've worked with many because I have MS. He included my husband in the info he gave to me. And was very gentle and comforting.

The office staff needs a lesson in the proper treatment of human beings. I've never encountered such rude treatment in calling to either make an appointment, or to verify the address - which there are several wrong numbers and 2 different addresses listed on the internet. Note to office manager, if you don't like answering "dumb questions", then make an auto recording that gives out general info. Not just what time you go to lunch and train. Include that you don't make appointments before 1:00pm - so we don't bother sitting on hold and pissing you off when we try to. And put an address announcement on there as well, if it's too inconvenient to give out those details.

Five years ago, I saw Dr. Melagrana due to blood in urine. He was so compassionate and friendly and such a great listener! He listens first then gives options. He is laid back and never rushed to see the next patient. He treats each person with individualized attention just as we need. He got me the tests I needed then I had my lithotripsy..he was wonderful in sitting down w/me and my husband in a separate lounge room as if we were visiting, to answer all questions. The pre-op and post op was all great and nothing personal, I hope I dont have kidney stones again (Ive been lucky this time around!) haha but..I will tell you one thing, should I need to go back HE WILL BE THEEE ONE I go to no doubt about that! I have already recommended him to my daughter who nows suffers kidney stones and who knows? Hopefully my younger twin boys will not need to go there but I refer everyone to him!:) I certainly hope he does not leave that office!

I chose Dr. Melograna based on the previous reviews posted on this website. I must say, he definitely lived up to all the other reviews you will read here. While other urologists i've visited either didn't seem to care, or didn't really understand my problem, Dr. Melograna actually listened to what I had to say before making a diagnosis-- he didn't rush me out of there to squeeze in the next patient-- he took his time and told me all he knew about how to fix my problem. He even knew about a rare natural supplement that has been know to cure the pain I was experiencing-- without writing out the first prescription med he could think of, like most doctors would do. Highly recommended.

wonderful, compasionate doctor. Can't say enough about him. Would highly recommend him to others. Stays on top of the latest and greatest medical treatments. Never feel rushed during appointments--answers all my questions. Top notch doctor.
