I agree that she uses students way too much. She is half out the door when you do get to see her. Last time there I went due to blood in my urine. Was diagnosed with a bladder infection. Few months later was able to go back to my original PCP who was now with my health insurance provider. From my medical records she asked about the blood in my urine episode and said she'd like me to have an uutra sound done. Did so and it came back with something unusual in my bladder. Went to a urologist, had a uretoscopy and had a small cancerous tumor which was removed. Going for 3 month cystoscopy checkup to be sure all is Ok. My urologist commented I should thank my PCP which I did.

If you have a choice, go to any other "doctor" but this one. I have no idea how this person got a medical license but SHE NEEDS TO GO BACK TO HER OWN COUNTRY. LEAVE THE UNITED STATES.

I agree with the previous posts, you are always seen by a student, not a nurse and then the Doctor comes in for the last 5 minutes of the appointment. When I specifically asked, while scheduling my appointment, not to have a student they replied that this is not possible the students are always here. Another time I showed up to my appointment and I was told I was seeing a Nurse Practitioner even though I specifically requested the doctor. The wait time is always ridiculous and the phone staff is rude. Also, can never seem to get an appointment within 2 weeks. If you have a sinus infection you need to be seen before 2 weeks or then it turns into bronchitis. Given this office many chances and will not be going back.

Absolutely awful. Treats patients like they are stupid fat Americans who are lazy and not worth her time. Definitely would not recommend. Needs to go back to her own country.

She has been our family doctor for around 4 years. Whenever you are ill and need to see her she finds time. I like that she has student doctors, and her nurse to check you out first.... Then she comes in ... And rechecks you out! She is right on the money with her diagnosis, and treatment! I couldn't be happier with her as my doctor, and her whole staff. I have and will recommend her for anyone to see as their doctor.

Dr Aruna is very smart and knows her trade. I agree with the other patients, that she uses medical assistants instead of nurses. someone told me it was because they work for less money. Although they let you believe they are nurses. The students that are there to learn except I do not want them learning with me. I pay to see my doctor and that is who I want to spend most of my visit with. students are not licensed to receive medical information, although they ask you all kinds of questions. no thank let them learn in their residency. These Drs' keep using these students way to much. Dont care for that!!!!

I am impressed with the amount of time and personal attention I get from Dr. Aruna. Once in awhile I will wait to see the doctor. I don't get angry, sometimes I too need more of her attention and I'm willing to wait to see this doctor. I appreciate a GOOD doctor kind enough to work with student doctors, with patient consent first, helping to generate future doctors who will treat us with kindness, consideration and a little humor on a good day. Dr. Aruna now treats four generations of my family, she is very though in ordering tests and when needed referring to specialist. God willing she will stay in Bradenton and remain my family doctor for years to come.
