Jr Jim is the best. Yes sometimes I get upset with him and you do have a little longer wait at times but once you’re in the room he answers all my questions so it’s worth the wait. He reminds me so much of his Dad. His staff is always friendly. I see a lot of people say they’re rude. Everybody has a bad day so I try to remember that. Dr Jim is a great guy

My husband had been a patient for may years. The office staff is terrible in every way. You hate to even call to make an appointment. So happy after all these years my husband found a new doctor.

Been seeing Dr. Walter since Dr. Dan Walter retired. (Dr. Dan was my doctor from birth) Unfortunately, after 50 years I will be looking for another doctor. Staff in this office is rude, and often unreachable. They do not return calls in a timely fashion. The final straw was over a referral. If they knew that they would not refer me to an out of network hospital. The problem is that I wasn't given the courtesy of a phone call saying that they would not authorize a referral to a hospital that Dr. Jim was not affiliated with. I found out the day before a scheduled surgery. Lauren was very condescending and rude to me on the phone. Office manager Cheryl was not helpful in any way when I requested a phone consultation with Dr. Walter.
Shame on them for letting this practice got to pot.

My father went into see James Walter complaining of chest pains. Ive had other relatives say they have done the same with their physician and their doctor and that their doctor immediately had them take tests. In my dad's case with Dr. James Walter, he put the test off a few weeks. A week later my dad was dead, no sympathetic messages to my family for a man who put his trust in his hands and gave him so much business. Now my family is left grieving because of his lack of urgency.

Dr. Walter is a good doctor. Takes his time with you for the most part. His staff is OK. They really don't try to get to know you, but they are not rude. Doc is funny, and you can tell he cares about his patients. I hate calling to try to make an appointment. I ALWAYS get the answering message. Wait times are very long.

have been seeing Dr Walter for over 15years, now looking for a new Dr. Went in for an apointment, took my husband with me. He was asked by staff to leave-I informed them I wanted him there. was told Dr would not see me with spouse in room-new policy. He didn't even have the courtsy to talk to me about it - just sent the help. We left. Looking for a new doctor after over 15years. Don't know what has happened to him, used to be very carring & concerned about his patients & their needs. Guess things have changed.

very caring, funny and smart. He's willing to admit he needs to look something up and shows you what he's doing. Couldn't ask for a better doctor!

Went to him for years, liked his sense of humor and willingness to get to know you. Left because he couldn't answer many of my family's questions. He had to go ask his dad before explaining PCOS to me, and then, when he didn't know what was causing a certain disorder, said I was crazy.

Dr. Jim Walters is a great doctor. He genuinely cares about his patients and knows his job. His good sense of humor helps a lot too. The problem I have with the whole thing is getting an appointment. The office staff are very friendly for the most part, but getting a speedy appointment is an interesting endeavor to say the least. Sometimes you can get in that day, or sometimes it's next week. The wait time once signed in at the office is usually anywhere from 30 minutes to just over an hour. It's insane, bring a book. I swear the lobby needs a flat screen and cable news to pass the time. Bottom line is: Dr. Jim Walters is worth the long boring wait. The wait is long because he's overbooked most of the time. That should tell you something; he's a great doctor and is very much in demand.
