Was pretty condescending. Didn't offer any solutions other than to "monitor"

Meh. I've seen Dr Stolar about 5-6 times now and every time I'm very disappointed so am looking for a new doc. He only sees me for 3-5 minutes (seriously) and only looks at/replies to the queries that I pose; he will not do anything extra at all even though it makes sense medically. For instance, I point to some suspicious moles on my leg. He casts a look and says they are nothing to worry about but doesn't check my other leg for anything suspicious. I feel like I have to search google to come up with my own diagnosis and as many questions as possible before I visit otherwise he will just swoop in for one minute, pronounce me "fine" and fly out the door.

I have even asked about the possibility of some cosmetic procedures for my face which I know they do and he didn't even try to sell me his services; just said oh, we could probably do this or that in two sentences and that's it. I gave him a golden egg in terms of upselling me but he wasn't even interested in that. Just couldn't wait to leave the room.

I think he's just getting as much money as he can for the least amount of work before retirement. He should retire and let someone younger come in.

I have been seeing Dr. Stolar for more years than I would like to admit and he is always kind, competent, reassuring. I have found that those who are really good at what they do often have a twinkle in their eye. And he does have that. Highly recommend.
