I had to look for a new family doctor, I had seen that Dr. Aziz was excepting new patients. So I paid the $25.00 to have my records sent to Dr. Aziz.. I made a new patient appointment, had went in and seen her, was sent back on my way with new prescriptions and was told to make an appointment for one month, so I did, had went on time for me appointment, sat there while she seen patients from the walk in clinic, both her and her husband are both at the same clinic, I would not go back at all, and I do not recommend for anyone to go to the clinic. Thank god I found a new family doctor. I think she should have her license taken from her all she does is push meds and never gets back to you when she is suppose to. Sadly to say she is not friendly at all....

I had chosen to see Dr. Aziz because I had just moved here and she was accepting patients. Going to my first appt I had showed up about half hour early and even with no other patients I was kept waiting until the exact time of my appt. At first she was helpful in some of my problems and had me sent to a specialist and diagnosed with PCOS. She had prescribed me metformin and said that it may make me sick until I got used to it but that was all. She gave me no info on the drug or possible side effects, like do not consume alcohol while on them. After 2 yrs the medication was making me severely sick and after going to see her with my concerns she just told me to go off the meds and that it's no big deal, this upset me since PCOS can lead to some even more serious health issues and also causes infertility, which are big concerns to me! She just gave me a slip for bloodwork and sent me on my way upset and teary eyed after about 5 mins.

Dr Aziz is the worst. I had mono so i made three appointments with her and waited her average two hour wait time for her. she perscribed me antibiotics for the sore throat and fever for the first week, the next appointment (the next week) i told her it wasnt working, infact i was getting worse. she perscribed me stronger antibiotics which also didnt work(since you cant cure a virus with antibiotics)the following week i came back and at this point my work was fed up with missed time. i told her i was still sick and she said "my dear, what if i dont believe you?" then she told me that if i wanted sick notes i had to visit each day and pay $6.00 for the note and take it to work (she gets paid for the entire apointment on top of that) i asked for the mono test.So she made me walk the swab she took of my throat to the DG and waited one month (test was finished in two weeks, i checked witht he receptionist after she phoned me)to tell me that i did infact have mono. meanwhile i lost my job.

I went to see dr. Aziz, first mistake was to tell her a very stressful event that went on in my life, that was not what I went for..but was my initial appt, The next visit was i was having dizzy spells and not feeling myself..she told me it was an inner ear problem, gave me a prescription and sent me on my way..took the pills..still dizzy went on for months...i went back and she said yes u have problems with your ears...after spending time money and alot of frustration her next diagnoses was Im having panic attacks...put me on drugs for that.....ok I was panicking cause IM DIZZY all the time...went to a chiropractor and low and behold...my c1 and c2 vertebra was way out of wack...now im fixed....no thanks to her...when i tried to explain what was going on..she would just stare at me like i was crazy...so much i was embarrassed to go see her....I don't think i will be taking her advise again...time to search for a new doctor!!!

This dr is very meek and mild-mannered, which some may interpret as "nice". If I want to talk to a nice lady, I'll visit with my grandmother. If you want sound medical advice, go elsewhere. At my last appointment, I had just finished telling her about my pain, and she took a phone call that lasted over 5 minutes while I sat there and listened as she discussed another patient's suspected drug abuse. Fitting, since she is a drug-pusher. Shortly after the birth of my son, I was struggling with post-partum depression. Without asking a single question, she immediately offered to put me on anti-depressants. Had she not heard about the post-natal mental health program offered at the IWK?! On another occasion, she sent me and my newborn son to the IWK to get a blood test on a Saturday. How could a doctor not know that every blood clinic in town is closed on the weekends? She is awful, and I'm now looking for a real doctor. No coincidence that she doesn't display her medical degree.

I have had Dr.Aziz for a few years now..and never had much of a problem with her..I was resently in a car accident and recived whiplash phase 2...I went to see here last week and was talking to her about my pain in my neck and how I was having migranes from it...she told me it WAS NOT migranes...lol ok..I then starting asking her a question..and she cut me off from talking and told me that my time was up..and that she had other patients waiting..I hadn't even been in there for more then 5 minutes and she kicked me out of her office and told me to make another appointment if I need to talk to her more about something...ugh...I do not recommend her at all...and am very upset with the way I was treated...I then needed a dr's note for my work..and she charged me $10.00 for this...very unhappy and am looking for a new dr.

I saw Dr. Aziz twice before I finally decided to see another doctor. She's not mean or anything, but she acts like she doesn't care. She never looked up at me during either of my appointments except when I walked in the door, and the wait...OMG the WAIT...3 hours the first time and 1.5 hours the second time! I wouldn't recommend Dr. Aziz, no. Her receptionist staff are nice, though.

Dr.Aziz is wonderful.I am an RN and very critical of what should constitue a good doctor. She treats me with respect. My issues were addressed immediately and I never felt that she was rushing me or disregarding my concerns.I wish she was more readily available, but a good doctor is in demand..I recommend her to anyone needing a doctor.
