I went to this doctor once for persistent gastrointestinal issues. He was not helpful, he was dismissive and is clearly too old to have up to date knowledge about gastrointestinal issues. Told me to stop using advil because it's bad for you, and I have painful periods and migraines so that was about the most useless and insensitive advice ive ever heard. When I asked for an alternative to advil he said you'll have to ask someone else. $60 copay down the drain. He might be helpful in diagnosing or treating easy to diagnose gastrointestinal issues but he will only give surface level advice for less obvious gastro issues. Don't go to him if you have ibs

If you ever have to see a gastroenterologist please do not go see this doctor. He will dismiss you and tell you that he refuses to treat you because he doesn't know you.

Avoid this doctor! He has cost me much unneeded stress, time, and pain. Finally I had to go to the best in the field to deal with a problem that Trinkl could not deal with but wanted to do surgery to remove my colon. Other doctor took expert care of the issue without surgery but Trinkl's records were incorrect and wasted my new doctor's and my time going through unnecessary procedures based on Trinkl's incorrect diagnosis. If this happens to you, get a second opinion or go to someone else to begin with. Staff is Ok and can be helpful but often abrupt and can appear disinterested.

I have met this dr, and he was very amusing and friendly. He is very polite and very helpful. In my point of view, he gave me a very good impression.

I met this doctor for the first time before a procedure, and he had obviously not read my doctor's referral note, asked me the same question over and over, and seemed to have an attitude towards me. He also belittled my choice of having had a (successful) weight loss surgery a year prior to meeting him. I almost ripped the IV out and decided to come back another day when a different doctor could do my procedure, but decided only to stay since I would not have to deal with him afterwards.
