Dr. Susan Kolb took over my case, after Dr. Butts left without informing his patients. She was very nice and genuinely cared about me and tried to help with my chronic back pain. She is a great person. I miss her

10 years ago I flew all the way from New Zealand to the US for Susan Kolb to totally remove my (then) 20 year old ruptured silicone implants and capsules. She did a fabulous job. She does have some spiritual beliefs that patients may or may not share but frankly it really does not matter. Her surgical and clinical expertise are world class all on their own. I was unwell with a number of symptoms. Took me a few months after the surgery to be symptom free . I had a great aesthetic result. 10 years later still feel great. So glad I trusted my instincts to go all that way to be helped by someone who believed in the problem.

I was sick and in bed daily until I prayed and was led to Dr. Kolb. She not only allowed God to use her to remove my TOXIC SALINE BALLOONS and heal me but my breast look better than when I had implants as she did an amazing lift! She was a God send for sure! Thank you!

I cant say enough good things about Dr Kolb or cant thank her enough for all that she’s done for me, and the sacrifices that she’s made trying to bring BII. When I learned about BII and started looking for an explant surgeon, I found that she was the only explanting surgeon that understands and treats the diseases caused by defective breast implants. The others just wanted to remove the implants, leave the capsule behind because it’s difficult to remove, and didn’t offer any post explant care. I knew I wanted the capsules removed after being in BLL support groups hearing women still sick after explant because they used a surgeon who left the capsules behind, but they got well after they went to Dr Kolb to remove the capsules and followed her treatment plan. There are several types of toxicity (silicone, chemical, biotoxin, and heavy metal) as well as coinfections of yeast, mold, viruses, and intracellular infections that may need to be treated, along with endocrine and immune support, so removing the implants is only part of the battle. I knew that the poison in my body from the implants and capsules needed to be detoxed somehow, and my experience is that holistic medicine is the best route for that, so I chose Dr Kolb, and it was one of the best choices that I’ve ever made. 3 years later I can still email her with questions, and she responds back to me within 24 hours or even sooner-I don’t have any other doctors that will do that for me. I am so grateful to her and feel like she’s an angel here on earth-she is one of the kindest and unselfish people that I ever met, and I will be forever grateful for her.

Dr. Kolb performed my explant in Dec. 2014. She literally saved my life. Both she and her staff have been nothing but amazing ever since. Almost 4 years later she never fails to promptly respond to my questions and is always willing to help when I need assistance. She is undoubtedly the kindest human being I have ever encountered and her knowledge and understanding of BII is unparalleled. Thank you Dr. Kolb and the staff at Plastikos! You are truly life savers!

Dr. Kolb removed my ruptured silicone implants and gave me an internal lift. Most important to me was finding a surgeon who was knowledgeable in removing implants properly and help me regain my health . I flew across the country to have her make me well. Best decision I ever made. Her knowledge about breast implant illness and how to heal her patients is heads above the rest. I am 5 months post op and I couldn't be happier. I wanted just to be well more than anything but my breasts healed so nicely and look so good.! I have had numerous breast surgeries and was worried how my breasts would look after 29 years of implants. I am ecstatic and I followed her protocol for healing with supplements anti fungals. I know for a fact it is why I am doing so well . I had ruptured implants that spread poison throughout by body and that must be treated as well as the removal of implants. She knows this like no other!

Run, don't walk, RUN as far from this DR as fast as you can. She's gone completely off her rocker, claims to hear voices from "spirit guides" in the operating room. Maybe this is why so many people either love or hate this woman. I guess if her spirit guides don't like you, you're in trouble. But who wants someone that ought to be ripping people off at a psychic fair for giving BS readings, ripping their breasts open and sewing them back together like Frankenstein's monster?
Not me. My consult with this doctor was a living nightmare. I won't even go into details, there is plenty of information out there about this witch if you just take the time to Google her and actually read past the canned, obviously planted 5 star reviews. Oh yeah, and apparently she tries to sue people who tell the truth about their experiences with her. CRAZY! Someone needs to tell her that it's not defamation if it is the Truth.

Dr. Susan E. Kolb's response
None of the reviews online are canned or planted other than some of the one star reviews who do not match up with our patient population so are probably false. The defamation case is ongoing and expected to prevent others like this patient from posting damaging information that you see here. Obviously, this post contains material that could be considered defamation. It is a shame that this patient did not receive the care that we could have given her. Please read the other reviews here and on RealSelf to find out how we help patients with defective breast implants.

Dr. Kolb did my explant, removed 4 lymph nodes and gave me my life back! I am so grateful!! Also, my natural breast look better than they ever have. My natural breast came out perfectly Symmetrical I did not need a lift. I could not be happier. I felt divinely lead to Dr. Kolb. I am grateful to God for her and her very friendly staff.

Nightmare! This surgeon will tell you you're dying if you don't let her cut you open. She took advantage of me when I was very ill. My advice, run as fast as you can. Not only did the pathology reports come back that everything she told me was wrong, she has you taking all these supplements (that she conveniently sells) and keeps you sick. It's crazy! When I emailed her with questions about her incorrect diagnosis, which ODDLY is the only way to communicate with her, she got very upset. She threatened me. I've never in my 45 years experienced such an unprofessional and abusive experience. She says that Michael Jackson is with her on surgery and spirits guide her. I wish spirits would teach her some ps skills as I now look like frankenstein. Do your research folks.

Dr. Susan E. Kolb's response
These patients are ill from defective breast implants and they schedule and pay for surgery prior to seeing me in consultation and I have never told any patient that they are dying if they don't let me do surgery on them. The pathology reports on these patients are abnormal and consistent with silicone, a foreign material that was causing these patients to be ill. The supplements are designed to help the immune and endocrine system and provide detoxification for chemical, silicone, and mold biotoxins. I have never told a patient that Michael Jackson is with me in surgery. I cannot comment on the other false statements in this post due to patient privacy issues.

I had an unfavourable experience with Dr. Kolb and her assistant Jan. I gave an $1,100 deposit at the time of booking my surgery. Jan was extremely pushy & rude. Via email Dr. Kolb had diagnosed me with silicone toxicity from left over capsules from my explant one year earlier. . i cancelled my surgery in the time perimiter allowed as I questioned her being able to diagnose my symptoms via email. As it turned out my entire capsule had been 100% removed & I did not have silicone toxicity nor did I need lymph nodes removal as she suggested. it was my thyroid & adrenals. The office would only refund me $500.00 & I was told that if I encountered problems in the future that Dr. Kolb would not see me. I am so grateful that I listened to my gut and passed on this surgeon. I did not need another surgery.

Dr. Susan E. Kolb's response
The patient was aware of the unrefundable $550 fee for scheduling. Patients are not encouraged to schedule surgery unless they have retained capsules or silicone laden axillary lymph nodes. Thyroid and adrenal issues occur due to mold and yeast biotoxins, and these issues will not resolve unless the co infections are also treated.
