This was 1st time I saw him and thought he was great. Very thorough in discussing EKG and never felt rushed. Highly recommend!

I had a positive experience with Dr. Herson I just felt that he tends to rush a little and I would of appreciated more time discussing my health concerns. Otherwise, a very positive experience.

Was totally ignorant of the possibility of my heart condition and asserted it was not medically possible. Prescribed Verapamil for my arrhythmia when he should have known I tended towards a low pulse rate (brachcardia), a condition for which Verapamil should never be prescribed - this is widely known. Although a very personable, approachable person outside his office, I did not like his manner in consultation.

When the ER doctor was planning to send me home (2003), Dr. Herson, suspecting that I had had a heart attack, ordered some extra checks. He turned out to be right, and had me sent for surgery (stent). He's been my cardiologist since then, and I have been thoroughly impressed. He's soft-spoken, "intuitive," smart, and caring.

Dr. Herson has seen me in the ERD and as a follow up in his office. He is very personable and professional. He has also treated my 96 year old mother and I would highly recommend him.

My internist was concerned with a cardiogram. I was sent to Dr. Herson who performed a stress test and reassured me it was a benign anomaly. I found him gentle, softspoken, caring and through. Iwould reccomend him highly

I find Dr. Herson to be dismissive, disinterested and somewhat lazy. I don't plan on going back.
