Dr Steger found the source of y chronic fatigue and worked to improve my quality of life. He also took my call when I was in New Mexico with my dying mother and assumed me that she was getting the same care he would have given her. He said both the disease and the meds were quite toxic though and she may not make it. She did not but at least I had the peace of mind that in spite of no infectious specialist, she was being handled properly.

Received very poor HealthCare @ Munster Specialist Building on 45th Street. He agreed to have Dr Matthew Meyer(Infectious Disease - in same building) to call in a referral to Mayo Clinic. It took him over 4 wks to do this. When Mayo asked for Dr Meyer to write up a letter stating what was wrong with me & what he's done to help, he never complied with request. Dr A Stemer personally told me he would b sure to have it taken care of. When I called Dr stemer and said it hasn't been, his response was they didn't need to & Dr Meyer has worked over 23days in a period of 25days, he was NOT going to bother him on his day off. In the meantime I've been running a fever & coughing up blood for over 4mos. I am DX with Fibromyalgia well over a yr ago. Dr Stemer said all thats wrong with me is that I have Fibromyalgia, also he could care less where I got healthcare - even if it meant going to paris!!! Very unprofessional & needs to go back to medSchool.
