Poor bedside manner. Glad she is no longer a regular ob.

Dr. Segel gave me great information and support through my pregnancy. She advised me of my risks and informed me on how to minimize them the best that I could. I trusted her with my babies life and my own. I would not have not changed my experience for anything and I value her knowledge and experience. I cannot thank her enough for what she did for my family.

She tried scare tactics with my wife during her first ultra sound and was rude to her as well. Very condescending.

Sally Segal Was a absolute pain to deal with during my complicated pregnancy. When i first diagnosed with gd her nurse Tina would not take 5 minutes out of her day to explain to me how to use the glucose test kit....and she made me feel terrible about having gd..she also tried scare tactics like...your baby is increased risk of neo natal and post natal death...and was short and snappy. She also made a joke about her being the older smaller version of the other high risk ob, which i thought was completely unprofessional. I went back there a week ago after a appt in the same clinic and brought my baby by to show the other ob Dr.platz who i absolutely love and was sad to hear she was no longer working there...hmmm i wonder why...maybe Dr. Segal was just to much attitude to work with!

My first meeting with the doctor was a 3 1/2 hour appointment, which I was never told it would be that long. I got asked inappropriate questions from the doctor and just feel like I made no connection with her and not sure if I want to see her again or not. She does not have a filter on her mouth so you need to have thick skin to deal with her!!!

She always thinks that she created this universe. You are Wrong Lady. She tells everything right on your face and never cares about how much she hurts your feelings and emotions. Her predictions are not accurate and the treatment she suggests are pointless. Not a patient friendly doc. I would never recommend her if you are a first time mom or decently sensitive person.

It feels like she guesses when managing gestational diabetes. One week she said to take my NPH Insulin right before I fell asleep the next visit she said I should take it the same time every night. She wanted to up my insulin when I was in the normal range and another week she wanted to leave it the same when I was running high. :S

I had a complicated twin pregnancy and Dr.Segal was the absolute best. She will do everything she can to make sure your baby is healthy. If Dr.Segal wants you to do something listen. It helped me have healthy twin boys, plus I have the smallest c-section scar I have ever seen.
