Upon scheduling my appt I began asking how much I could estimate my expense for my level 2 sono to be. I could not get an answer. Finally, weeks later Whitney explained they do not have a staff member to work with insurance to calculate this. I understood this. However, I kept asking how much they bill insurance and I could estimate from there with my insurance company. Whitney would not answer until I asked firmly repeatedly. Then Whitney slandered me with my boyfriend stating I had used profanity. I had not. I simply stated that it appeared as if the doctors office is not being upfront about fees until they can see how much each patients insurance pays. It was not a difficult question. Every doctors office should know how much they bill.

I was a high-risk pregnancy and saw dr. koster as a referral. She was great. My son was born 11/23/09 and I saw her every other month. She was so nice and burned me a CD because my hubby missed a few appointments. She was utterly professional and also was able to tell the sex of the baby at 12 weeks. Now, as for the bad review below, it doesn't sound like a patient. Sounds more like a colleague who's had bad working relations with Dr. Koster. Where did you get all these intimate work details about her and her colleagues and consults? And where does it list that she's a high-risk OB? How would you know all that unless you were a disgruntled colleague; or a patient who stalks her?? Anyway, I had a great experience with her and hope to use her in my future pregnancies.

I would totally disagree with what the person wrote about Dr. Koster and rated her 1111. Like I use to hear when I was younger if you can't say anything nice!! Dr. Koster is a wonderful, caring Dr. and I personally like the fact that she takes her own call coverage. That way if I need her I get her, and don't have to deal with other Drs. that I don't know. I would highly recommend Dr. Koster for any pregnant patients that would like a kind, caring, knowledgeable physician. She is truly top of the line. Please post so that other will know the real story about Dr. Koster.

OMG! She was delivering babies then and taking her call in solo practice. I wonder who was covering her that day? I wonder if this has been reported to the states board of medicine and her hospitals. I hope the policeman was wrong that day and she wasn't really intoxicated! If not, I hope she fesses-up for patients' sake.

Dr. Koster is a great physician. I had a high risk pregnancy and she was part of the team that took care of me. She was very knowledgeable and encouraging even when my ob was not too sure what to do next. I would recommend her.

Compared to my previous sono at North Texas Perinatal(NTP), I had a much better experience with Dr. Koster. 1. Wait time - At NTP I waited at least 1 hr. At Dr. Koster I waited zero minuites (I was surprised). Its so refreshing to have a DR. that values my time. 2. Newer equipment - NTP could only record to VHS (I don't even have a VHS player) and has a tiny old TV to show the sono. It cost me $30 to burn the VHS to dvd and the quality was pixilated & fuzzy. Dr. Koster has a gigantic HD TV in her office and burned video clips directly to CD. It was easy to email & share. Personality & knowledge wise, both doctors were great.

Dr. Koster is the best! I had some spotting early on in my pregnancy. She did an u/s and did her best to find out what was going on. I've never had to wait when I had a scheduled appointment. She is the best and answers any questions you might have!
