This doctor physically made up conversations and possibly damaged my back after a procedure and instead of sticking with me to find out the problem she told me to go somewhere else. So I did only she somehow foundnout who I went to and said some inaccurate things so now the new doctor is reluctant to treat me

DO NOT waste your time with Dr. Barclay. This woman is incredibly rude and unprofessional and has no people skills whatsoever and has no business being a pain doctor, I don't care how long she claims she's been in practice. Both me and my wife were very professional when we came in to talk to her about my pain situation and what she could do to help me. My underlying pain was causing me some anxiety and she ridiculed and mocked me for showing such emotion. Both me and my wife left in tears. This doctor is toxic.

Had appointment with her in March - she was on time but very angry. I explained my pain situation and she gave me a dirty look and asked if I just came there for drugs. I said yes I need a small dose of medication to keep my arthritis and dislocated shoulder from constant pain. She left the room and told me to go back to my arthritis doc- he's the one who sent me to see her. This person is crazy. I have no idea what she was talking about / my mistake - I thought she was a pain management doctor. She should be described as a doctor that will make you feel horrible and belittle you as she runs around her office. God bless those poor girls I her office.

I have been seeing her for 8 years, she is the only doctor that has helped me.if it was not for her I would never be able to have pain releif.i have severe stomach pain,4 surgeries in my stomach area.she is the best by far.im sorry people had a bad experiece with her.

I have had Dr Barkley for awhile and she makes my life livable, she is very kind hearted and listens to every problem with much interest. I once went foran appointment and I had been involved in an accident earlier in the month, and when I advised her of a constant knot in my mid back, she treated it and I have never had a problem with it since. Her staff has always been caring and interested in all my problems. My BIGGEST compliment is her Punctuality, I have better things to do with my time then sit in a doctor's office waiting. The longest I have ever had to wait for Dr Barkley is about 10 to 15 minutes. Her Professinal attitude is of the highest I have ever seen, specially when most Doctor's think they walk on water.

Dr Joanna Barclay is the most compassionate and caring doctor. If not for Dr. Barclay and her excellent staff I would have missed my son's wedding. They made sure I got injections and pain medication so I was able to attend his wedding. They are awesome. This was my second major back issue and I made sure I went back to her. Nobody could help me either time except Dr. Barclay. The visits were 10 yrs apart. Thank you everyone for your incredible help throughout this painful ordeal. The internal medicine that I saw in the hospital was Dr. Ko and all I received from him was I guess you will have to live with the pain or take the codeine and end up again in the hospital again with a block bowel. I wished my own doctor was on call at the hospital since she is so compassionate and he was awful. Go see Dr. Barclay, she will prescribed medications that will relieve your nerve pain without awful side effects until she can do injections. I would recommend Dr Barclay and her staff to any family member or friend. . Laurie Topolski

She was the worst doctor I've ever been to. She was nasty, pissed that she didn't have all my records, questioning my previous doctors referral as - "oh they probably are trying to get rid of you." Then walked out of the office. As I stopped at the reception desk to leave - I overheard heard talking very loudly to the entire hall of people, that shes not dealing with other doctors bad patients. I was stunned. I cried on the way home. Nice day off.

It truly shocks me that Dr. Barclay is allowed to practice medicine. The appointment started off fine then got worse. When I scheduled my appointment I filled out all the paperwork that the office gave me. After a few minutes talking to Dr. Barclay she became very rude and hostile. She began to tell me that I was a burden to her practice because she did not have all of my medical history. Her staff dropped the ball...not me, but regardless I was humiliated by the way a doctor spoke to me. I am 50 years old and never in my life have been treated in such a manner by a professional. After leaving the private room, Dr. Barclay began yelling at her staff that she would not treat me. People could hear about my situation that shouldn't have been able to. This doctor is a disgrace to the medical field. STAY AWAY!

Whomever answers the phone should be fired. She must be on several drugs because she ask you the same question several times back to back. Dr. Barclay seems very knowledgable however extremely rushy. My suggestion is that she need to work on her customer service skills. Nice person/Dr. but I wont return to her office. I think the fees she charge for missed appointments are ridiculous and should be illegal.
