Very relaxed environment, best psychiatrist I've ever visited. Treats me as an equal participant in treatment decisions and takes the time to explain everything. Very disappointed that other doctors' offices don't have dogs, since I look forward to seeing them every time I have an appointment!

I've been seeing Dr. Wesner for over ten years, during which time I experienced a variety of challenges; some of them I felt to be life-threatening, some of them led to my threatening my own life. Through them all, Dr. Wesner has listened compassionately, offered both understanding and strategies for coping, shifted medications astutely when I went from depression to acute anxiety, and most important to me, he paid attention to the ways my life and experiences were evolving--I never felt like a 'case' or an 'illness' but like a person who needed help he could kindly and expertly give.

Depression and anxiety run in my family and I have struggled with both since my early teens. I was referred to Dr. Wesner by my primary care doctor a number of years ago.

I have found Dr. Wesner to be a caring, honest and skilled physician who does much more than write prescriptions. He actually listens to you, takes an interest in your life, makes insightful suggestions and is never rushed. Dr. Wesner has helped me through some tough times and I feel fortunate to have found him.

Dr. Wesner is a rarity in todays profit focused healthcare world. Dr. Wesner is an expert in his field and stays up-to-date and knowledgeable about new advances in medicine. He not only diagnoses and treats the condition, but cares about the individual as a whole. He has personally gone above and beyond anything I could have ever expected to ensure that the best treatment for my condition was approved by my insurance, which required completely exhausting the appeal process. I would highly recommend Dr. Wesner to anyone seeking quality healthcare.

I have been working with Dr. Wesner for over 6 years. I enjoy meeting with Dr. Wenser as he is one of the few psychiatrists that actually does therapy with his patients in addition to writing them prescriptions. He has helped me tremendously through the years. His office assistant and dogs provide a warm and welcoming environment.

Dr Wesner has helped me with mental health problems for many years. He's always willing to offer medication changes to help me get the most out of life. He has helped me with lifestyle changes that put me in control of how to be the best 'me' I can be. He is down to earth & has a great Office Manager in Bonnie and her Assistant Dog in Training! His two Official Dog Assistants are remarkable and comforting.

I have a neurological condition called Post Chemotherapy Cognitive Impairment, resulting from a bone marrow transplant I had many years ago. The onset of chemo brain symptoms was gradual, and exponentially and adversely affected my personal, social, and professional life. This caused me increasing distress and anxiety, making daily functioning really hard.

Dr. Wesner guided me through methods for addressing these symptoms, thorough interviews, suggestions, arranging for cognitive functioning tests. He is straight shooting, really hears what I am saying, and gives me excellent insights on rethinking how I had been viewing myself. I never feel rushed. I appreciate his professionalism. He's good and has awesome dogs!
