Dr Patton was the worst type of hypocrite. His record keeping is abysmal. I later found out he's been disciplined on more than one occasion. He even pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance, ecstasy and GBH. He had an accidental overdose of ecstasy and GBH. All this is water under the bridge. His license was revoked. I write this as a warning. Do your research before placing your trust in anyone's hands. I hope he handles his demons. Runs a bed and breakfast out of his home now.

Receptionists were all rude and seemed uncaring. Very difficult to get in contact with. Had to drive to his office to make appointments---no one answered calls or returned messages. His office called me the day of my appointment to see if I could reschedule. Happened 5 times over a few years. A couple of times, he wasn't there after I showed up for my appointment! Looked at his cell phone during sessions and even took calls during MY session, saying "excuse me, this is a very important call". Final straw, showed up for an appointment with Dr. Patton and some gal that was just hired was there in his place. No explanation or apology. She wasn't even a Dr. ! Told me(after I insisted on knowing)that a patient had stolen Dr. Patton's prescription pad which was why he wasn't there and couldn't write scripts for a brief time. Only now am I finding out the truth of his abuses. ----Even worse,...when I was borderline suicidal and he couldn't find a hospital for me, he recommend I go home & try lumosity.com to get my mind off of what was "bothering" me!?!

Dr. Patton saved my life!He taught me how to recognize the symptoms of my condition, proper coping skills, along with educating my family as to my condition as well. I drive four hours to utilize his services and wish that he was located closer to me. When I have a major panic attack , all I have to do is call his office and they work me in asap. He is awesome! I just wish that he treated younger patients, as so many adolescents need a caring doctor like him.

Alesha Akers, the office manager is a rude, bitter hag. She always loses paperwork and never seems to be able to answer the phone. She is horrible at her job.

Seems interested and caring at first but as time progresses (other visits), he seems to want to get you out of the office PDQ. Printed out a script for a new sleep medicine and handed it to me and I hadn't EVEN INDICATED I WAS HAVING TROUBLE SLEEPING. Phone rang and he got up and left for a moment without apology or explanation. Hyper.

I've seen Dr. Patton for years, and he is absolutely great. Most offices only see you for 5-10min and that's it. Dr. Patton sees me for 30 min, unless I'm really late, then he works me in, but that's my own fault! The office is beautiful, and the staff is great! I've never had a problem here, I pay on time(they don't take insurance) and I have no issues with my care, I trust him with my life. The office manager is great and always takes care of me. (and is not bad to look at either!). I couldn't see getting better care from ANY doctor anywhere! Dr. Patton truly saved my life!

Office manager is rude, loses paperwork, and doesn't complete needed insurance forms correctly or timely. The doctor starts out extremely interested and then begins handing you a script and pushing you out. No follow through on support systems. I've recently found a new doctor and can't believe the difference.
