Dr. Nath was impossible to reach. She NEVER returned calls and had to be chased to get an answer. I had to stop going to her because of this.

She is quite simply the best doctor that I have. She is knowledgeable, kind and personable. I wouldn't trade her for anything!

As a direct incompetence of Dr Nath, my mother died. The mdication made her sick and she ignored her concerns. She developed pancreatitis and died. When Dr Nath was called about the excruting pain my mother was in, she was told to reduce by one dose and was given an anti-nausea medication but told her to keep taking it. It actually killed her pancreas and caused her death. Stay away

Dr. Nath's heart is in the right place and she is knowledgeable but she has no ability to coordinate with other doctors and get things done including prescriptions, tests, and accurate diagnoses. Waiting for her has taken 2 or more hours which is untenable. I am afraid I am done with her after many years. I don't think she really wants to coordinate care with others and has never had good support staff.

Dr. Nath is an excellent and compassionate doctor. She is very busy and yes there is a wait...but once you are with her she takes her time and is methodical about going over her notes. I have gone to her for years and she has always returned phone calls as soon as possible, helped with referrals and took care of acute situations immediately.

Dr Nath is not over worked. She simply doesn't care about how she or her staff treat her patients. Every appointment I had with her, scheduled months in advanced for midmorning times, her secratary will telephone me in the morning on the same day, to tell me that Dr Nath needs to reschedule for later in the afternoon on the same day. As I am a psychologist, this means I need to end up canceling my appointments for the entire day as I live in another State. I spoke to Dr Nath about my concerns and she continued to do the same thing to me. Also, when I get to her office, i will wait for over 1-2 hours. Also, she doesn't fill prescriptions easily and doesn't return phone calls in an appropriate time frame. As I said, her attitude and the attitude of her staff is not because she is overworked, it's because she has difficulty lowering herself to the needs of her clients whom she views as beneath her status in life.

Dr. Nath routinely runs at least an hour behind, it is not uncommon to wait 2 hours in her waiting room for an appointment. I would not mind this but the staff will not tell you if/how long she is running behind so you have no choice but to show up and wait. Difficult if you're working, have family you care for, etc. She has canceled appointments on me at the last minute, less than 24 hours in advance, then said she'd get me in that week, only to have me wait over a month for the rescheduled appointment. I think she is over-committed. She does not remember what she said she would do in terms of treatment plan from one appointment to the next, which I get because no one can recall all that, but that's what notes are for. I'm left to conclude she either does not write good notes or does not review them before or at the appointment. At my last appointment, she kept pushing to get me to say I felt better and that my stomach condition was "manageable". She was literally trying to put these words in my mouth, and the reality is that it is not better and is only manageable with a terrible diet that is leaving me malnourished. Her office staff is really not good. Every time I have to get one of my medications re-authorized, it is an excruciating process. The most recent iteration of this was me calling a month in advance of the authorization date and telling them, and them saying they'd take care of it. They did not put through a new authorization, instead they just put in a refill at the pharmacy, which I found out with only one week left in the authorization period. When I called to let them know and to ask about getting the authorization, the staff member I spoke to was really rude. If it were just once or just once in a while, I'd think they were just having a bad day but this is the standard. So I'm done with her. I know people will hear she's a good doctor, this is what I had heard too, but there are so many communication, organization, and continuity problems with her and her practice that I have to say any "good doctoring" she's giving is just not worth it if you have long term illness that requires your doctor to be on the ball in helping you manage it.

Based on 10 years experience, I can honestly say she runs at least one hour late for her scheduled check-up appts. because it's a small part of her practice, and she accomodates emergency visits. When you do get to see her, she's thorough and attentive. Scheduled procedures run much more efficiently.

Dr Nath saved my life by identifying a hidden source of cellulitis. She may be busy but I think she is a very good doctor
