She is rude, disrespectful, ignorant, has not empathy, lies, can’t remember what she told you and will have her works to help her lie.

This doctor is unreliable. If you have an appointment, they call and reschedule many times. She seemed to be a good doctor but it was very hard to get to see her. I finally went somewhere else.

If it was possible to give a negative numerical rating that is exactly what I would give this practice. I saw this doctor after my PCP determined he believed I had a rheumatological disorder and referred me to her for further testing and treatment. I found this doctor to be lacking empathy and any kind of decent bedside manner. She ordered blood tests (only a few which I informed her I already had done recently) and sent me on my way. I returned for a follow up in which she proceeded to tell me that my blood tests came back normal and there was nothing wrong with me. I'm an RN, a dancer, and have always been a very active person in general and have been dealing with severe and often debilitating symptoms that forced me to quit my job as a nurse and spend much of my time in bed but in the minutes she spent with me she determined there was NOTHING wrong. I will never forget what she said next.. "I think you need to see a psychiatrist".. I left the office in tears (upon seeing me cry she just stared at me like I was literally crazy) and feeling humiliated and second-guessing myself wondering if, in fact, I am "crazy". This experience caused me to become fearful of seeking further help for my symptoms because I was afraid of being looked at as "making up" my symptoms or seeking prescriptions (yet on the contrary, I've always refused pain medications and at times other medications due to side effects). My condition continued to deteriorate and I eventually was desperate enough to seek out a new rheumatologist who was able to diagnose me within the first visit just by reviewing my tests, bloodwork, images and history.. I would hate for anyone to waste their time with this doctor. There's something called human decency and empathy, neither of which this doctor possesses so the only thing you'll leave this office with is more distress, hopelessness, (and maybe a diagnosis if you have a "real" disease).

The staff is rude. The receptionist basically just hung up on me when I called the office. They called me at 12:40 to remind me of an appointment I made 6 months ago that is at 12:30 tomorrow. I was told that I had to pay a $60 cancelation fee because its not within 24 hours. I never get listened to while I am in there. I have been put on medication that they know that I am severely allergic to that caused me to lose my vision for 3 days. Then charged me another copay just for my husband to figure out the drug had sulfa in it (which is my allergy) I have been going for a year and a half with no diagnosis and no help other than prednisone that doesn't work. All I want is an answer. Every time I go, my diagnosis changes. Plus I have waited in the waiting room for 2 hours and then another hour in the exam room. I will be requesting my records and will be trying to find a new doctor. I'm sick of the staffs attitudes & I'm sick of them booking overlapping appointments.

My dad had a Reclast infusion with Dr. Javed and was in severe pain from that point forward. A month later Dr. Javed placed him on a higher dose of Prednisone with a schedule to reduce the dosage, but he continued to have more and more issues. Unfortunately he waited for her to return from overseas since she had no backup to refer him to, but he finally had an appointment. The morning of his appointment while dad was getting ready for the appointment, which was no easy task given a once active and mobile man could now barely move around, yet her office called and cancelled the appointment just as another reviewer had stated an hour before. That was the final straw for my family when the office sarcastically said just go to the ER, so we found him a new rheumatologist. Unfortunately, it was too late and we lost him a month or so later. Think twice before you choose a doctor who for the most part will just push for infusions and then is not available when there are complications.

I made an appointment with Dr. Javad for my wife, to do an evaluation for osteoporosis. We had to book months in advance, and we received several calls in the days before the appt to remind us of the appointment and warning us of the $60 no-show penalty without 24 hours notice. The morning of the appt, we received a phone message 1 hour before the appt to cancel the appt, no explanation given, and we were instructed to call back to reschedule. I debated whether to call them back and let them know about our $60 no-show penalty for a cancellation 1 hour previous with no explanation, but we concluded it was not worthwhile. We just contacted our PCP to get a referral to a different rheumatologist who might treat patients with more respect.

I find Dr Javed to be somewhat rude and uncaring. She doesn't seem to have a real interest in answering my questions. She lacks compassion. When she diagnosed me with Lupus, she was just so blase' about it and her staff seemed just as clueless as tears streamed down my face while I WAITED to check out and reschedule. Never once acknowledging my current state of mind. Anymore I wonder if it is a requirement to be a lackluster individual who has no compassion to be a rheumatologist.
