I found Dr. Lukawski to be a compassionate, warm and highly skilled physician. I really dislike going to doctors and was skipping my yearly physicals because of this, until I found this doctor.
She put me at ease, and has always returned my off hours calls within minutes. I truly recommend her, if you are lucky enough that she is taking new patients.

Dr. Lukawski is the best. She is extremely understanding, and knowledgeable. I have never waited more than a few minutes for my appointment, and she always follows up and is available if I have any questions.

When this doctor left our State, we have not been able to find a doctor that even comes close to her competency, lots of us wish she would come back!!!

I am so happy I found Dr. Lukawski. She is patient and kind,and she really knew how to provide the best medical care for my needs. My phone calls are always returned promptly, even on weekends when I have called with medical emergencies. I have recommended her to my friends and family.

FYI I would never recommend seeing dr Lukawski again, she had miss diagnosis me w wheat allergy, then told me to take wrong thyroid meds, told me to go on 800 cal diet then nurse told me 1200, if couldn't follow that go on high blood sugar meds then she changed her mind told me to not go on glucose meds stay with in 800-1200 cal no carbs or very low sugar forever. Still have same issues when I walked in door & she wants me to go see another dr to get Colonoskipy bc she can't help anymore. Kinda ridiculous bc first time I met her she seemed so nice "oh I will help u too & get to the bottom of this by the end of the week" never did bonkers been over a month, only answer was other drs werent doing enough tests, strep b in stool, still feel awful!!! I adore Dr. Lukawski. I saw her for 10+ yrs. She asks 100 questions, gets knee's to knee's with you writing or typing your information. She ordered labs that my previous MD didn't and found that my thyroid was low, B-12 & DHEA. She prescribes bioidentical hormones instead of sythetic hormone treatments which in my case was important with breast cancer deaths on both sides of my family. She is willing to work with you on your health issues rather than prescribe another RX. She suggests dietary and over the counter remedies when appropriate. I am so surprised at the experiences of others because I found her to be compassionate and very thorough. She would write all her suggestions down in list form so that I wouldn't forget what she recommended. Her staff did leave something to be desired I have to admit, but I was there to see her, not her nurse. I recommended her to several and all love her just as I did. My name is Joy and I miss my doctor. She was worth the wait.

I agree with other reviews in that the front office is the weak link. My phone calls are not returned, messages never seem to make it to the doctor. I have always been confident in Dr. Lukawski, she is helpful and knowledgeable, but I will also look for a new doctor who will return calls, answer questions and update prescriptions over the phone. Long wait for appointments too.

Poor communication, does not accept credit cards (checks or cash only), back office is the worst. Lukawski was my doctor for six years, then I had to find a new doctor when she stopped accepting Blue Cross insurance - so much for her concern for patients!

The office is poorly managed, always runs late and does not return phone calls or requests for refills for weeks at a time. All this would be tolerable if the Dr. gave time and attention, but even that does not happen. For years, I was healthy and figured that if I really needed medical attention, at least I would get it then. Not the case. Dr. L did not return calls and did not run additional labs. I finally found a new dr who ran thorough labs, diagnosed me and helped with god treatment. I am SO dissapointed with Dr. Lukawsky.
