He was great, until post~op. Had cervical fusion, at 2 levels, The next morning, in spite of my telling him that I was in terrible pain & even my nurse told Dr. Opalak that my pain was not under control, Dr. Opalak discharged me, That night, at home, I had to call the on~call doctor, to help manage my pain!

He was great until after surgery. He sent a Phasician assistant to examine, & answer all my questions after the surgery.

I just have to uprate that unsmiley face. He hasn't done the surgery (and the wait for an operation is long), but Dr. Opalak gives you as much time as needed, with eye contact, answers and assurances. He was also twice rated best nerosurgeon in CT by CT Magazine. Plus, his staff is terrific.
