I can't say enough great things about Dr Zimmerman. He is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. He explained everything and all my options. Also very realistic expectations. He has done 2 spinal fusions on me in 5 years and the results are exactly as he said they would be, maybe even better. He is also very conservative and surgery was not his first go to remedy! On top of that his bedside manner is excellent, not like some of these condescending doctors. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I disagree with the above. I have been a patient of this doctor who has helped me through difficult times with a great result. He was absolutely available.

Dr. Zimmerman is a very prominent doctor and very much in demand. I just believe that his patients need to be prioritized. My husband had an MRI done April 20, 2007, he saw the doctor April 26, 2007. Was told that he had a swollen bone, 2 bones above his prior surgery. The doctor prescribed pain medicine and informed us that he wanted to have a biopsy done. In the meantime my husband is in agonizing pain. The biopsy was finally scheduled for May 7, 2007 after calling the office a couple of times to find out when it would be scheduled. Today is May 15, 2007 and we had to call the doctor's office to find out the results of the biopsy and my husband is still in agonizing pain. I realize we are not his only patients, but when a person is suffering, the way my husband is, they need to show a little more compassion and concern.
