I was a patient of this doctor but did not receive the letter about closing her practice. I need my medical records. Anyone with the name and number of the referral doctor, please enter it in the comments. I liked her very much and am extremely disappointed in how she left her patients (no warning and no help).

Too little, too late. She sent out letter now saying she closed her practice. (Surprise!) 1st she's referred us to a dr in Metrocenter of all places! Then states we have to contact that office within 48 hrs to confirm a follow up appt. Then goes so far as to say we can pay $25 to get our records. She is no longer a member of the AMA or the Am Board of Internal Medicine. I couldn't be more disappointed or feel more betrayed by my physician than having her skip out and close shop without prior notice, leaving us hanging when we need medical care. I have no intentions of going to her again if she returns to practice.

Dr. Riva - Where are you? You have patients who need medical records so they can move on with another doctor. I hope you are well, but don't leave me and others out in the cold. We have supported you over the years and deserve better. Robin, if you are reading this then you too are welcome to contact us so we can retrieve our medical records. I am sick and need my history to assist my new doctor.

Dr. Riva has closed her office with no notification to her patients. There is NO forwarding information and the phone number has been disconnect.

Dr. Riva is overall a good person and will see any patient. But, what she tells you does not match up to what you are feeling. She gives a lot of medicine but little information. Her practice is always changing location.

No one EVER answers the telephone. I really like Dr. Riva & my husband did too, but one time he wanted to use his debit /credit car to pay his copayment, but the office didn't have the equipment. Instead of billing him for the little $10 copay, they wanted him to go to the bank & come back with the money before he was seen!! He is a truck driver & was in his rig, which is really a hassle to get in & out of places. He left & never came back. It made us wonder...He went back to his old dr. However she IS a good doctor though.
