Dr. Allen is simply the BEST. A very gifted doctor. He always seems to know exactly what I need and stays focused on what it is that I need. I just think he's done more for me than any other doctor and improving the quality of life. A very astute, very intelligent doctor. I call him the doctors - doctor. He is very knowledgeable about medications and very pointed about targeting the source of the problem. You will not find a better doctor and a better person. He is a God send.

My husband & I are fortunate enough to receive care from this wonderful man. He always has time to talk AND listen, even called me at home to check on my husband after his hospital discharge & we feel blessed to be under his care. I am in the health care field & can testify you won't find many internists of his caliber.

I have been going to Dr. Allen for for over 12 years. He is by far the best internist and professional in every sense of the word. One visit, I brought in several questions about health matters and he sat with me and discussed each one. You just don't get that type of service anymore. What a true blessing he is in my life as well as my family. Thank you Dr. Allen for all that you do!

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Allen since 1993. He has cared for my husband during Open Heart Surgery, Hip Replacement, and now DVT. Dr. Allen not only cares about you as a patient, but cares about you as a person. He takes time to sit with you and listens. So many Drs. are in a rush and don't get the opportunity to know their patients. Dr. Allen takes extra time to know his patients and provides the best care possible. My husband and I live 32 miles from the Frist Clinic, but would not think about going to another physician. Dr. Allen has always been there for us.

Hearsay recommendations by other patients rated Dr Allen on a scale of 1 to 10, rated him an ELEVEN, one even a 14, which described his persona...Being a Johns Hopkins product, and with them offering him a position with them, aroused my curiosity regarding his ability in "pushing pills" or regulating medications, which has been very positive for me... Dr Allen is outstanding !
