I have been referred to Dr Goldhar as a skin specialist, for various consultations several times over the past 10 years, each time resulting positively & with much satisfaction. He is knowledgeable, comprehensive and pleasant ... not a “promoter”.

I saw Dr. Goldhar for a follow up skin mapping appt. I had Images taken due to a melanoma diagnosis (Successfully surgically removed). Dr.Goldhar was unable to access the images on the computer that were taken At MedCan. He said it was no big deal and proceeded with the appt. If he didn’t need the photos for comparison from two years ago, why did I have them taken? I have a complaint about the unprofessionalism of this dr. as well. I was there to have my skin checked to ensure I do not have any other suspicious moles (I.e. melanoma). He was trying to sell me fillers, varicose vein treatments and esthetic skin treatments. It is very off putting to be attending a dr appt for a past melanoma diagnosis and the dr trying to sell you treatments for esthetics. I was there for my health. This makes me think dermatologists are just trying to make money and don’t care about their patient’s well being. I would have been a satisfied patient if he was prepared for the appt (Images accessible) and knew I was there for a skin check...not unsolicited advice on my appearance.

Dr. Goldhar is great. Very helpful in helping me to understand the procedure and very effective at giving the procedures.

Amazing doctor in all areas! Have been a patient for years and I now live in New York and still come back to Toronto to see him! He is an extremely skilled diagnostition. I recently started to do Botox injections and he is amazing. Keeps me looking natural. I cannot recommend Dr. Goldhar enough!!

I first saw Dr Goldhar in 2008 about a a tiny pearl-coloured near-invisible spot above my lip. That little spot remained the same until 2013 when it changed so I went back to see Dr Goldhar who took a sample of the tissue. A lab test determined it was basal cell carcinoma. I had it removed at Women's College Hospital. I now go to see Dr Goldhar for an annual skin and mole check. He is professional and has a gentle and caring demeanour. He never makes me feel rushed, answers any concerns or questions, and explains issues in layman's terms. I like how he takes his time to make thorough notes at each visit. It's obvious that he enjoys his chosen field of medicine. I would highly recommend Dr Goldhar.

Dr. Goldhar has a great eye and does excellent work. I preferred going to his private practice. Since joining Medcan, the prices for fillers and botox, etc. have gone through the roof. He's become unaffordable.

Dr. Goldhar is not a very chatty doctor, but he's an extremely competent one! He's very thorough with checking patients, and as long as you give him time to jot down all his notes he doesn't seem opposed to patients asking him questions (you might even get him to crack a smile). I really don't think he's cold - he just has a different work approach. And that's just fine by me, because the last thing I need is to waste time with another chatty-but-incompetent doctor.

I've seen Dr. Goldhar twice he's a very cold man. He prescribed cortisone creams for. I don't want to go back to see him again. I will ask my primary care doctor for another referral . I've seen a much better dermatologist in Irvine, California!!!! the staff were nice.

I just got online to get an update and look at his online presence. That is the best headshot I have ever seen from a MD. I don't know how old or "young" he is, but from what I see - He is a living testimony that he is in a league of his own. He looks so AMAZING!!! I'm surprised no one else mentioned it!!! He is such a attractive man...

Honestly, I have seen Dr. Goldhar many time and I can't understand what the reviews are talking about. Dr. Goldhar is the best dermatologist I have ever gone to and my experiences have been excellent. He is a little bit on the quieter side but is very friendly and is extremely intellegent. He is patient and takes the time to explain everything to make sure you understand. Dr. Goldhar is amazing at what he does and really knows his stuff. You can tell that you are getting treated by a highly skilled, professional, and top doctor. Recently, I was out of the country and got a bad infection. Everything was different and in another language. I got through to Dr. Goldhar and he told me exactly what to do and the infection went away in a few days. If that's not an amazing doctor then I'm not sure what is.
