Dr Lucas is a physician who does no listen to his patient, He has diagnosed without a clear understanding of all symptoms and he is strongly opinionated and defensive when you disagreed or question him. He is always late with no regard for others in the waiting room and he smells of smoke after his visits into his office area between patients. Not something a patient wants to smell during a physician visit. Unprofessional

For my 84 year old mom's 2:00 appointment he finally walked in to room at 3:30 with no excuse or apology for 90 minute wait. When we said it was ridiculous he yelled "I HAVE OTHER PATIENTS" and walked out. He'said arrogant and thinks he is above everybody. Will never see him again. Getting new doctor.

Are you serious? Dr Lucas is a God into himself.. At least in his own mind. He doesn't conduct an examination in conventional manner, he views himself as beyond all that. I saw him 4 - 5 times over the course of 2 years and he NEVER used a stereoscope to listen to my heart or lungs. He made off the cuff remarks that are not only inappropriate in a professional setting but highly unethical as well. He practices alone and sees himself as somewhat of a rebel.. Superior to his peers. When I changed doctors, I discovered I had quite a number of problems either undisgnosed by Dr Lucas or misdiagnosed. Don't say you weren't warned.

It's really a shame because this doctor is very knowledgable, however, he does act like he's some kind of God & like you are lucky to have him!!! He was completely hurtful to me years ago when I went to him for tests and when I got my good results he asked me why I was so happy that I could have some other disease!!! So I reported him to the Board of Physicians & he lied to them telling them things that had nothing to do with the issue. He convinced them with lies that I was wrong & he was right. I should have sued him as he put me in deeper depression than I was already in. And the Board did nothing!!! He treats people like they're not worthy of his care, like he's too smart for them!!! I changed doctors immediately. I will never forget what he did to me and I do not recommend this doctor at all, as there are other good doctors that know how to treat a human being with compassion & understanding, which he doesn't have the know how.

Is a good doctor, has trouble keeping decent staff, almost never on time, but does what is needed to keep you healthy. Does not like to refer to specialists, but will when it is necessary.

He is very intelligent and helpful. He is also compassionate and realistic with patients. He is always tardy. best bet is to get first appointment of the morning for a timely in and out assessment.

Knowledgable and open when sharing information with patients.He does not attempt to overwhelm you with medical terms, and tells you all that you need to know in common verbiage.

Polite and very knowledgable; However, often late for his appointments. When I have a problem, I describe it, he knows the answers. He's worth his tardiness.
