I am very well verse in medical issues , specially my own . This Dr. is a fake and do not care about his patients . I known him for over 20 years. and at the beginning I thought he was a good Dr. but time and time again, I learned better.I have dealt with my condition for many years and have learn one or two things along the way. If you want to live a little longer with a better quality of life , I recommend you to stay away from this Dr. and the Wellness Center(if you do not take action and command of your own life; they wont care..they are trained to see you die) Here in Las Vegas are quite a few good Drs. that can help you in all aspects of your condition... not only to check your numbers and if you are detectable or not. There is a lot more to the overall well being than that. This Dr. had me taking meds that were hurting me. He does not care, period. Since, I got out of that miserable place I have found out many mistakes this Dr. and previous drs (in the same facility) were doing to me... to the point of Malpractice . I know some people think he is a God sent and might be for some that does not know any better . Well people that is all ... and wish you all Good Health.

Dr Jerry Cade is far the best hiv doctor there I have been with him since 1995 he save my life he has always answered my questions I would not see another dr his staff might be new cause the others retired all and all he is the best in the field he is a god sent

I do not recommend Dr.Cade at all. The Wellness Center enviroment has changed for the worst, since they hired a new staff. Also, Dr.Cade is always canceling my appointments, not filling prescriptions in a timely manner. It is very stressfull to go and see this Dr.since the NEW staff has become very HOSTILE. I have been with the HIV virus for over 2 decades and I have been going to the Wellness Center for many years. It is unfortunate that my previous Dr. has left. Now, things have gone for the worst and I am going to be seeing a True Infectious Disease Dr. Which come to find out that Dr.Cade is not.

I have been seeing Doctor Cade since 1992. I know he is a busy man. I consider him my primary care doctor. I have learned that doctors can't help you until you take charge of your own health care to help yourself. Having said that, I see Dr. Cade on a regular basis when I am generally healthy. The few times I have needed more comprehensive health care when it comes to scheduling appointments for immediate health concerns I will see another doctor at the Wellness Center if I can not get into see Dr. Cade when I need to. It doesn't bother me that Dr. Cade is a busy man or that Sometimes I may have to see another doctor. I know when really need him I can call his answering service and he or one of his associates will get back to me usually very quickly. If I where in an intensive care unit I would trust Dr. Cade with my life. When no other doctor knew what was wrong with me Dr. Cade read my labs and knew immediately. I was a patient of Dr. Cade about 5 years ago. Unfortunately I found him to be way too busy and distracted to be of any help to me. When trying to explain some symptoms, he laughed them off and didn't seem to care. I subsequently changed doctors. If only Dr. Cade could slow down and listen, it would be very helpful. With this said, Dr. Cade is definitely one of the most knowledgable HIV doctors in Las Vegas.

I really like Dr. Cade but he prescribed a medication for me that caused major irrepairable damage to my liver. The medication was listed with the FDA and I recieved a News Alert regarding the damages and dangerous side effects of the drug. I also went to another physician who alerted me immediately to the dangerous complications. Unfortunately, I had been on the medication too long and my liver has been destroyed as a result. I am currently living each day as the last. Prior to this, there weren't any major health issues involved with my disease.

Dr Cade is an excellent doctor but is seriously overextended in terms of doctor/patient ratio.

Dr Cade is a great Dr. Yes he is very busy. But I have never had an issue. He has kept me undetectable for over 4 years and no matter what I need or the time of the day someone in his staff is always available to help me. He has been very supportive from day one and he is more than an HIV doctor he takes care of all my primary care needs. I highly recommend him.

Doctor claims to be bipolar and enjoys the "ups." Well respected, but way to busy--has no bedside manner and poor listening skills.
