I took my 22 year old daughter to see Dr. Andison since he has been my physician for over ten years. She was getting the run-around from several doctors with no results and I had had it! Dr. Andison spent an hour ONE HOUR-getting to know her, talk with her, and assess her. She walked away from his office happier than I had seen her in years! We both cried. She finally felt like she was getting the help she needed- and she was. Her medication is working and she’s doing so much better. I cannot praise Dr. Andison enough - not only for what he’s done for me over the years, but for what he’s done for my daughter.

Dr. Andison performed a routine laporascopic surgery to remove my left ovary that had a cyst. He did that and also severed my left ureter. The severed ureter was not diagnosed for over a month after the original surgery. I was very sick during that time and with my blood pressure spiking and my creatinine (measure of kidney function) rising, I demanded to see a urologist, guessing I had a blocked kidney. With a severed ureter and blocked kidney diagnosis established by my urologist, and after multiple repair surgeries and procedures over 6 months, $3000 in insurance co-pay expenses on my part and much, much more by my insurance company, Dr. Andison’s insurance company made it clear they would not offer any compensation for this huge mistake and considered it to be an acceptable complication of the surgery. I now have a functioning left ureter but also a permanently damaged left kidney.

After recovering, I consulted a highly respected ob/gyn and his reading of my tests and reports indicated that the type of ovarian cyst I had is usually benign (very, very rare to be suspicious) and the S.O.C. (standard of care) for that type of cyst is to first watch and observe it, ie, no surgery.

Needless to say, Dr. Andison is no longer my ob/gyn.

Dr. Andison is the BEST! I have been his patient for many years. He remembers my name and my issues. I feel like I can talk to him about anything, not just OB/GYN problems. Sometimes I may have to wait a little bit, but it is worth it for the outstanding care he gives.

Bruce Andison is the best Dr I have ever had. He treats me with respect. I am diabled and need special care at appts. He has never complained. His best quality is his wicked sense of humor. I would trust him with my life.

I have been with Dr Andison for over 10 years. He is a treasure to have as my doctor. He listens to you and understands what is happening. I will stay with him till I pass. He is a blessing. What more can I say about this beautiful and WONDERFUL doctor. If you are in the Vancouver, Washington area look him up. He is a true treasure.

This man saved my life on two separate occasions, improved the quality of my life and is always very kind and helpful. He is a thoughtful, caring person and has the ability to remain calm and in control in stressful situations. Sometimes the schedule runs a little late, due only to the fact that he takes time to listen to EVERYTHING a patient has to say...but the staff keeps you posted and does not leave you sitting in the room wondering....
