Repeatefdy fails to do what she says she will do and is required to do. Leave voice message and no response. Student in training to be Physician's Assistant doing entire exam alone in the room, without the doctor, for a patient with many health conditions. Doctor briefly walks in afterwards and says she has complete faith in the student and she's sure she did a good job examing. (Insurance gets billed as if the doctor did the exam. $$$.) Repeated phone calls with no reply or several calls over a period of weeks for a simple response. If you are looking for a new primary go elsewhere.

She does not do telemedicine. This is really hard on people with chronic issues, particularly chronic orthopedic issues. Some things could be taken care of quite simply. She’s a kind woman. However, the office is made several mistakes in my care, including once, putting in my medical records that I have diabetes when I don’t, that’s a big mistake. Also the wait is insane. Absolutely insane. It’s nothing to walk into the office 15 minutes before your appointment and you’re not even seen for an hour and a half or two hours. She gets interrupted and says she’ll come back and she doesn’t. If your blood pressure is a little high when you walk in and you’re trying to straighten it out you sit there and wait an hour and a half, the patient is just fuming inside. How can you get an accurate blood pressure reading When you’ve just waited an hour and a half for nothing and you can hear them talking and talking in the hallway? If you leave a message to make an appointment with a front desk, they don’t call you back. God forbid you speak up and the staff become passive aggressive.

Staff is very rude. Phones are rarely answered and questions left on message machine are rarely acknowledged. Dr. Ram Is rude and incredibly disrespectful! She forgets important medical issues and puts your health at risk. She actually charged $10 to sign her name on a form for osteoporosis help that she recommended. Money is her motivation not helping patients with complicated and serious medical issues.

Dr. Ram has become terribly incompetent and she relies on referrals to other doctors to do her job for her.

This office almost never picks up the phone and rarely calls back. They seem to operate on "no news is good news." Yeah...not so much when you're sick and trying to figure out what's hurting you! They didn't get back to me about my test results and they didn't let me know what was wrong in my blood test until I showed up in the office twice. This was after calling multiple times throughout the week asking for my results. Very bad practice that results in poor patient-doctor relationships.

If you want to wait 2 hours, not have dr. follow-up go here. http://www.nytimes.com/1993/11/11/nyregion/doctor-indicted-in-arson-after-office-is-destroyed.html and more reason not to go to her: http://w3.health.state.ny.us/opmc/factions.nsf/58220a7f9eeaafab85256b180058c032/137c72118077185e85256a4a0047e90c/$FILE/lc164385.pdf

To the person who said the complainers only wanted drugs they didn't get...not true. I was offered pain pills and declined them, actually. I even take OTC meds as little as possible. Dr. Ram is an extremely nice person, however, nice is not all there is when it comes to a DR. I always get into a room on time for my appointment, but am ALWAYS waiting AT LEAST an hour for the DR to come in. One time I waited an hour and 5 minutes, she came in and was there 2 minutes, left the room to answer a personal cell phone call, and I was out the office within 3 minutes of her return. I usually have to tell the CNA and DR what I was diagnosed with because they always think I have diabetes and I don't, and I when I WAS diagnosed with what I actually DO have, rather than having it explained, I was told to "look it up." The staff as a whole seem much more worried about socializing together than anything else. Like I said...just about the nicest person in the world, but that's not all that matters.

Dr. Ram is nothing short of great! Whenever I have an appointment, she always takes as much time as I need explaining to me what is going on with my health and what her suggestions are. Sometimes I forget to ask her everything I want to when I visit the office, but she's so caring that she gave me her personal cell # and almost always picks up when I call (even when I once called at 3 AM during a weekday with what I thought was an emergency), and calls me back soon after if I couldn't reach her! Just love her!
