My Mother was a nurse and a patient of Dr. Brosseau's for many, many years. There were many mistakes, oversights and down right neglect to investigate the contraindications of medication in regards to her care. I believe that due to this, there was a direct impact on her health. Against our families plies, she continued to stay with him. With one of her surgeries, pre-op test results were not reviewed in a timely manner thus resulting in the surgery being cancelled at the last minute as she was being admitted to the hospital. I had driven 300 miles to take her to the hospital that day. There was no apology for the errors he had made. Instead, when my mother called to get answers, Dr. Brosseau told her that he would not be offended if she found another doctor. He had no regard for my mother or our family. My mother died in March of 2008. After decades of both working together at the hospital and being his patient, he didn't even take the time to send a sympathy note.
