At first Dr. Kupferburg seemed to be very genuine, but unfortunately my illness was not so straight forward and at that point any further diagnosing went out the door. He was annoyed when I asked questions or God forbid I disagreed with him then he got condescending, it seemed that he wanted it to be cut and dry and in my case it wasn't, so the investigation stopped. I proceeded to another doctor days later and by then I was worse. So he misdiagnosed me and as a result I did get worse. Thanks to another doctor I am feeling better. So if you have something not so straight forward, don't go to him.

I have to say Dr. Kupferberg is an amazing doctor. I can agree with other reviews that his bedside manner is not the greatest, but I will take his knowledge and professionalism over bedside manner any day. My daughter had her adenoids removed by him, my sister and niece both had tonsils removed by him and we all think he was great. The only thing I'll say is he was 15 mins late for my daughters surgery which doesnt sound like a lot but for a 2 year old that is like an eternity. I would highly recommend him to anyone. We have NJ Direct from Blue Cross Blue Shield and paid nothing out of pocket.

Dr. K, while may have a blah bedside manner and may at times feel cold, he is INDEED the BEST OT around. I had a cholesteatoma and for 15yrs every OT told me I had water in my ear. One day I say him and it took him but ONE...ONE quick sec to look in my ear and say.."I see a C". I wound up in NY at the NY eye and ear for a 10hr surgery...If it weren't for that ONE visit with him, I wouldn't be here. Who cares how COLD or aloof a Doc is. If you want a friend, get a friend...if you want a doctor...Well...get a DOCTOR!

I truely felt he would have my daughters best interest and health when she was 14 months old and had to have surgery. I was correct in feeling this way. He was amazing. His bedside manner was so calm that it reflected on me and I had a sense of peace because of it. I would recommend him to anyone adult or child. He always knows what is best and I have all the confidence that he is making the right decisions. The best Dr. around my area for 50 mile square radius.

Dr spent time each visit reviewing scans and expalining everything.He even showed me my CAT scan and explained every detail on itNever had a Dr do that before!His surgical coordinator was wonderful and caring .She went over the top with my auth for surgery and kept me informed all the way. They were out of network for me and they never hounded me about cost for exams like other offices do. I had to have surgery wih him and I felt in good hands and they worked with me on my sched at work without making me feel like I was being dificult (like other Dr's offices did)Over all I would give them a pefect score inevery area from front desk to Dr.

Ask for full disclosure before medical procedures and it was not complied. Was given unreliable and misleading information. Ended up with outragous bill.

He might be good with children, but I went to him in an emergency and he was acting as if he was totally bored. "Fluffed off" my concerns. Leaned his head against his arm like I was keeping him up.

Great Doctor takes time with patients and he is always on time. He calls his patients back when they call.
