Dr. was always hesitant about how to treat the patient. Didn't explain ALL of the options available, including hospice which meant he would lose my husband as a patient. Instead, chemo was allowed and 1 round of it was devastating - never went back for the 2nd dose. Going on hospice sooner could have meant my husband wouldn't have suffered nearly as much as he did. Overall, very bad experience!!

I would not be alive if it wasn’t for the care I received from Dr. Gill. I received a call from my family that I had multiple myeloma and I needed to go to the hospital for a blood transfusion. I went to the hospital for the transfusion and was fed lunch and dinner. I went into respiratory arrest for the lack of receiving the transfusion sooner. As a result, a CT Scan was done and I had 2 brain aneurysms. I was at home and one of the aneurysm burped and I passed out. Dr. Gill met my husband at the Emergency Room and found the top neurologist to preform the surgery to repair the aneurysms and I was care flighted to the hospital that that neurologist used had surgery on the aneurysm that burped. Released and returned later to have the second one repaired. Started chemotherapy treatment and went back into the hospital for a bone marrow transplant. After the transplant started on medication for the multiple myeloma and the had a stroke in 2015 the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Came off that medication for December and was to start a new FDA approved immunology early January 2016; however, insurance didn’t approve request. Dr. Gill told me not to worry, he would get the treatment approved. He did and I started treatment late January 2016 and I have been in remission since August 2016. I still go in once a month for blood work, doctor visit and an infusion. Last spring, I became ill and tried to see my family doctor. I wasn’t able to. Saw a physician that was open on a Saturday evening and was given medication that I was able to start that night. Took as directed on Sunday morning. Woke up Monday morning in severe pain. Made it on Monday to see a nurse practitioner. She asked me to take a deep breath and I told her that was the best I could do. She the order an X-ray, did the X-ray and she returned to tell me I had pneumonia. When I told Dr. Gill about what happened, he told me if I am sick to call Texas Oncology that he will see me and take care of whatever is making me sick. I truly appreciated his willingness to care for me even if its not my multiple myeloma. He is the best!

Dr. Gill is the most perfesional, intelligent, caring doctor if have ever meet. He and his staff go out of their way to help me and also my family, I have been sick for 15 plus years, during that time I have met many doctors and Dr Gill is the only one that took the time to talk with me and my family, listen to our concerns and make sure we understand the illness and that all of our needs are met. He will reach out to other specalists to help with my case and he has personaly called my health insurance company just to make sure that they would approve a medication for me. I have watched him over the years treat many patients and he is one of the only doctors I have seen treat people like humans not just another patient sitting in their office. Dr Gill will take the time to sit with you and your family to explain your illness so you can better understand. I am so very blessed that he is my doctor. I would never go anywhere else.

Dr Gill was assigned to treat me when i had a blood clot and was almost 7 months pregnant. He was extremely mean and unprofessional. The other doctor on my case removed him due to his behavior. He is the worst excuse for a doctor i have ever seen. he has no business practicing medicine. He made me cry so hard that i needed a bag to catch my breath. i can only hope he loses his license to practice medicine.
