I transferred my records to Dr. Shperling because my colleagues, both University professors, raved about her. With these high expectations, I was not disappointed. Dr. Shperling gave me an extremely thorough physical, took her time, ordering the appropriate tests for my age (mammo) and inquiring as to the status of other necessary tests. She was very open to my opinions, despite her vast knowledge. She is a lovely, caring human being and a superb health care professional.

She has a condescending attitude toward her patients. If you dare to question why she's sending you for a test, she'll get snippy: Who are you to question HER authority? She's the doctor. I had pains in my chest which I'd assumed were an ulcer. I didn't know what they were; I'm not a doctor. She tested me for an ulcer. It was a precancerous condition (FAP) which wasn't diagnosed until twenty years later...by someone else. I'd stopped going to her awhile ago. I always thought that anyone that's that disrespectful to patients can't be very good. I was right.
