I have been seeing Dr Goldberg for years and I find him to be caring and compassionate. Yes he is direct and realistic, but he certainly does not shy away from work or finding a solution. He is dedicated to his profession and his patients. Our family has called him at all hours and find him to be concerned and caring, and always ready to help. Dr. Goldberg is indeed a hands on physician and places his patients at the top of his list of priorities.

Dr. Robert Goldberg is a hands off doctor and tends to delegate to other practices (urologist, gi etc. )the "hard work" involved in diagnostics and treatment. He has a "my way or the highway" approach to treatment. He is definitely not pro-active or an interventionist and seems only to get involved personally when the ailment is staring him in the face. He has a tendency to shrug off ailments in older adults to "old age" and is pro nursing home as a solution. You get the feeling he is tired of practicing medicine and not interested in pursuing new methods of treatment or digging deeper for an underlying problems.
