I was Dr. Smith's patient for about three years and I liked him and his staff at Mercy Health Tracks Clinic very much. I was very comfortable talking to him, and I felt that he listened quite well to me, and our sessions did not seem at all rushed. I was very sorry when he told me he was leaving, but I hope he is well and happy in his new practice in Wichita.

When I was a new patient Dr. Smith was excellent. However, it did not last. Everything in the process is rushed. While he is knowledgeable sadly he does not actually listen. He hear s what is being said but does not really take the time to listen to you. His response and plan for is incredibly difficult to follow as all questions are answered with very little detail. Most issues he has sent me to a specialist and once I see the specialist they believe the issue should have been resolved by the Dr. whom referred me. If you are seeking to get to a specialist quick this is the office to do so. In short, it feels he is too rush to provide quality care. Additionally, his office staff is very uninformative and requires asking multiple times to receive answers. Very few actually make eye contact with you and provide little to no personal interaction.

Updated on 05/05/2017-
I had an appointment with this dr last week. Per their sign on the office they were running on time. I got up and left 45 minutes after my appointment time. I figure if they didn't care to update their patient, be on time and provide some sort of service then they didn't qualify to be my provider. This is not a one time instance... It has been all 3 times I tried to see this dr. Then they had the nerve to send me a letter about missing my appointment and how it is important for them that I keep my appointments. Seriously? YOU ARE FIRED as my Dr and as a health facility. You do not earn my business and you will not see another dollar from me. Congradulations on being a ****** facility. Thanks for treating me like trash. I hope it made you feel better.

First the facts.
#1. The dr was running about 45 minutes late yesterday. That got me off to a bad start right off the bat. Why have an appointment if you can't keep your schedule. This is completely disrespectful to your customers.

#2. This was an appointment to establish care. I waited nearly 45 days to get the appointment due to Dr Smiths schedule.

#3. I found it very odd there was no discussion of family history. I am of the believe that some issues are past through generations and that maybe some items would be helpful for a doctor to accurately treat a patient. I maybe wrong but I found it very odd for him not to ask about any of the history.

#4. IT looks like he had been running, I am guessing being as he was so behind. The whole interaction was rushed or at least felt rushed.

Sadly, I researched over 40 doctors in springfield and choose Mr. Smith based on his reviews hoping I had found a good one. I can't say right now that that has happened. I may give him another try or two but based on this 1 experience I can't say that I would want him is my primary doctor.

Wouldn't recommend believing he got his oaths mixed up when it came to Hypocritical and Hypocratical, but it is a business.

Dr. Smith, is a wonderful KIND and Knowledgeable. He has been my Dr. for many years. He sets the bar HIGH, and listens and lets you participate in your treatment. The Front Staff is wonderful, and the back office staff is wonderful too. Sometimes you do have to wait, it is because, he is giving his patients 150%. He will not rush you, knowing there are two other patients waiting. So be kind, because once you see him, you will understand why you might have had to wait just a little bit longer.

Dr. Smith is very considerate and kind. He is personal and remembers things that aren't in the chart. One of the nicest guys I've ever met. Plus, he's experienced and always open to questions or concerns. He seems to really want you to benefit from treatment, rather than pushing medications. I always feel like I am involved in the treatment decisions and that I am well informed. I would absolutely recommend!

He seems very distracted and rushed. His office staff is excellent but the nurses you have to talk to on the phone are not good at listening or relaying information.

Have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Kyle Smith and his entire staff. He does something that few doctors seem to do anymore, and that is "listen" as well as talk. From the receptionist all the way to Dr. Smith I have complete confidence that all take the time to work in the best interest of the patient.
