I was referred by my Dr to Dr Meador. I had been to the er 3 times over numbness and pain and tingling in my legs and feet. She was the rudest Dr I have ever met. She was ask me a question and when I went to answer, she would cut me off before I even got a chance to answer. I don't know what she was thinking but I can only guess she thought I was only there for pain medicine. I was already prescribed pain medicine but it was not helping my pain at all. She tested my reflexes in my legs and I had none. She decided to send be for a nerve test. I had been off work for 2 weeks and only had 3 sick days left. I asked her how long it would be before I could have that done. She didn't know. I told her I needed a note or something to give to my work. She said that was not her problem and that was between me and my job. I told her that I was in danger of losing my job and she didn't care. I immediately left and went to see another pain management Dr because I couldn't believe how rude and unprofessional this woman was. The other pain Dr was very professional and actually seemed to care. I would not recommend Dr Meador to anyone. She was the worst Dr I have ever seen. Side note. I went to UAMS about 4 days later and spent 8 days in the hospital and was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome. The faster you get treatment for it the better chance you have to make a full recovery and not end up paralyzed. Stay away from Dr Meador
