If you are looking for a Dr. who cycles through patients, can read an MRI report and plays the childhood game of "telephone" with his PA, then this dr is for you. If you are looking for a dr who is attentive, answers your questions, does a thorough exam and medical history, is respectful and is not condescending, this is not the doctor for you. If you are educated about your injury and in tune with your body, by all means do not ask a question or challenge what is regurgitated from this doctor. I understand the demands from insurance companies to rush through patients, but there is no excuse for his rude, unprofessional and disrespectful treatment of patients. His physical exam was rushed and incomplete, he didn't ask any questions about my medical history and was quick to suggest incomplete and ineffective remedies for recovery. I was lucky to find another medical professional that was the anthesis of Dr. Kupcha and have since make dramatic, instant improvements in my ankle. If you value your time and your health, find another doctor.

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Kupcha. He was thorough and his PA, Geary Gutowski, was excellent as well. Mark provided just the right balance of instruction in performing exercises to strengthen my ankle, as well as demonstration of how to properly wear my new ankle support. Very professional, personable, and friendly. A winning team!

I developed a mass in my foot and once again went to see Dr. Kupcha. This time he told me that I needed surgery and that he would be able to perform the procedure ASAP. His staff including Nancy, Geary and Mark not only made the arrangements smooth and seamlessly, but their individual follow up both was friendly and professional. I am extremely pleased and highly recommend Dr. Kupcha and his entire staff.

I went to go back and see Dr.Kupcha after my studies I had and as always he rushed and hardly spent any time explaining to me my options just said surgery and that's it! I wanted to ask him to explain the surgery and know what to expect down time and so on but he rushed out the room like he had NO time for me VERY short and left the room. Nice to know I need surgery but would have like to have talked about it explaining things. I know he is a great doctor but don't tell someone they need surgery and as soon as you do leave the room and rush out! I would have liked to known the success rate down time so I can tell work and to know about the surgery but instead NO answers or questions I could ask because he rushed out like the flash!

After suffering many years with a collapsed arch and painful complications, I got a second opinion from Dr. Kupcha. It was a straight-forward assessment, with a recommendation for surgery. He did not sugarcoat the difficulty of the extensive recovery process, or try to pressure me into surgery. The procedure went very well, and recovery was a bear as predicted. But I followed instructions and made it through quite successfully. His PA's and administrator were just great.

I had already had a surgery when I saw Kupcha. ...he gave me the blow off of I recommend pain management....I'm sorry...I don't want to be a junky. ....another doc is performing surgery on me soon......I think Kupcha shows a lack of intelligence who just wants to write scripts...

I went to Dr Kupcha to get help for a nagging problem I have suffered with for almost 6 years. He offered some general advice; ordered a CT Scan. I returned to him to get the results of CT Scan and he said all of my previous bone fusion surgeries were intact. Within 24 hours I learned from the written report of the radiologist and my primary surgeon that, in fact, there was a non-union at one of the fusion sites. Dr Kupcha saw the CT scan and the written report. I can only assume he missed the diagnosis or he just wanted to blow me off because I have a complicated history and he did not want to be bothered with any intervention. He suggested pain management. He also directed 90% of his conversation to my sister who was in the room with me. He made very little conversation contact with me. Needless to say I would not recommend him.

Dr. Kupcha's technical skill was outstanding. He managed to mend a badly broken foot that another Orthopaedic doctor did not want to touch. Back to 100%. His office demeanor was excellent. He was confident without being arrogant, answered every question I asked clearly and completely, and his advice on what to do (and not do) while in the recovery process was very helpful. I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone whose foot issues require surgery. His staff was also an asset. Friendly, knowledgeable, and competent at every turn.

I had an appointment last month with Dr. Kupcha and was very pleased that I didn't have to wait too long to get in. When I saw him, I found him to be polite and he listened to me. I didn't feel rushed. Sometimes doctors don't wait until you tell them your story of what's wrong, etc. I didn't find that this was the case with Dr. Kupcha. He was able to find out what was wrong and was able to treat me effectively.
