I had a robotic prostatectomy with Dr Mian several manths ago. His bedside manner prior to the surgery seemed a little rude and short with me (which I dismissed as a little eccentricity), but after the surgery was much worse. He is quite unapproachable and arrogant. Although I continue to progress in my recovery; I have met several people that had the same surgery with him, and none would consider the surgery as successful.

I (male 65) have had two prostate biopsies and numerous visits to this clinic (Urology Assoc) for tracking Prostate PSA. I also have used free annual screenings available through competing providers to track PSA. Both biopsies have been negative (one sign of HG-PIN in first). The concerns I have are: (a) The PSA testing data dropped in a statistically significant manner between visits/data at other clinics are consistent with prior results; questioning of staff has divulged no info from them to illuminate why/what changed..disturbing, (b) on one occasion for a clinic scheduled biopsy the clinic indicated they were not prepared even though they had provided the needed pre-prep items; the explanation was vague. (c) Following the first biopsy, which was negative exc for HGPIN at one site, Dr Mian "seemed" a little TOO eager to go to an inpatient explorative biopsy. Overall, staff are helpful and communicative except for above points.
